Renesmee knew that Jacob was right. Their lives had been one exciting roller coaster since the very beginning. Her birth had been one of the most chaotic events in history of vampire and human alike. And then Jacob imprinting on her, well it didn't go over well with her mom at first, but eventually everyone came to accept that fact. Then the thirty year separation from Jacob had been the hardest thing in her life, but she was happy when it came to an end and they returned to Forks and the love of her life. Their wedding was celebrated with family and friends and now, they were parents to a beautiful baby girl. "Our life has been anything but ordinary," she said softly as he ran his fingers through her hair. "And Alicia just makes our life so much better because she is ours; our little girl."
Just as she finished talking, her ears perked up to Alicia whimpering in the nursery. She held her breath for a minute, hoping it would pass and Alicia would fall back asleep. However, it didn't as Alicia burst into a full cry. Renesmee got off their bed and went to the nursery, picking her up out of the crib and holding her daughter gently against her chest to soothe her. "Shh sweet girl, I'm here...it's okay." She walked back into her and Jacob's room with the baby. "I think someone just wants to be near us," she laughed quietly as she held the baby and sat on the end of the bed.

Jacob moved to the edge of the bed so he was sitting right nest to Nessie" I don't see why she wouldn't want to be with us seeing how shew is a lot like you, She is smaller, then you but you too are a lot alike,I can see it in her eyes. She looks at me like she know I am there to protect her and care for her, I wonder if he will have a gift?" Jacob placed his finger in her little hand it was too big for her wrap her little hand round it around. "She just so perfect, So beautiful, so loved. Daddy loves you Alicia" Jacob leaned down and kissed Alicia on the forehead before Kissing Nessie. "And just as much as I love Alicia, Ness I love you, I will forever and always till the end of time .

Sitting there on the end of the bed, Renesmee was happy to be with her little family. Her daughter and husband were her world. Everything about this moment was perfect and sublime in her mind. She watched with extreme happiness as Jacob held Alicia's little hand around his finger. Alicia was so tiny compared to Jacob, which made Renesmee smile. "I don't know if she will have a gift or not, but either way she is perfect to me," she cooed, looking down at Alicia who was focusing her eyes on Renesmee's. It was hard to believe that she was really here, but looking into those chocolate brown eyes, Renesmee knew that she was worth the waiting, anticipation, and every ounce of pain she had endured to bring her into the world.
Renesmee watched as Alicia focused her vision from her eyes over to Jacob. Kissing Alicia's forehead, she looked back over at Jacob and smiled. "Before we know it, this little one is going to be running all over the place and we'll constantly be chasing her," she laughed before thinking about the rest of the family and how they would react to Alicia growing up. "Goodness, Alice is going to make her a professional shopper before the age of five! And I'm willing to bet Rose will add to that." Thinking about the future, Renesmee had to stop and think about the past. Her birth had been one of the most celebrated things in the Cullen family as it gave them the one thing everyone desired, a little one to adore. And now they had Alicia too. It seemed almost surreal, but in a good way.

Jacob laughed quieter then usual because he did not want to scare his daughter Nessie was right about Alice and Rosalie going to make he a good little shoper she would be totally spoiled by everyone ing the family. . " I guess it is good that we both run fast. I am wondering what she will think when she first sees her old man Phase into a giant wolf ? I hope I don't Scare Alicia too much." Jacob smiled he was think would have to show her what a puppy looks like when she is younger. She when she first see him phase she is not afraid.
"Hun. Maybe after a while we should get a puppy, so why she does see my for the first time in my wolf from she is not scared, or we could get E.J even thought I am worries about imprinting to come over in his wolf from a few times. He is still pretty small, I think I like option number two better, Embry will get bigger over time, so when she finally see me she wont be scared." Jacob still had his little finger placed in Alicia hand. " Soon enough darling you will me the other half of you family."

When Jacob mentioned Alicia being scared at her father phasing for the first time in front of her, Renesmee turned to her husband and laughed quietly. "I wasn't scared when you phased for the first time in front of me," she reminded him gently, placing one hand on the side of his face while still holding their daughter in the other. "So I really don't think she will be either, but if you want to get a puppy first, I'm okay with that...so long as it doesn't jump on the baby. Or having E.J. be around is alright with me too...he's a good kid, so I know he would never cause trouble." She looked back down at Alicia and smiled warmly at her daughter. It was still a miracle that she was even holding a baby in the first place. It was a miracle that the wolves of La Push got along with the Cullen family, but she and Jacob were the cement in that relationship and had been since her birth and his imprinting on her. Everything about their relationship was unique to the cosmos, even in their world. A half-vampire and a wolf married with a baby...it was simply unheard of, but Renesmee was happy in her own little world, lost in the beauty of her child and the love of her husband.

Jacob smiled as he wife placed her hand on the side of her face, "You have to remember how you came into this world something like that would shake a normal person but you were drinking blood right out of the womb, and you could understand a lot for someone so young. Sure Alicia is less developed them you wee at birth so things will be harder for her to understand at such a young age. EJ i think would be better the a dog he will know that jumping makes him a bad boy" Jacob spoke joking abut the last part. EJ would be a better around the baby and they would not have to clean up after his mess. " I don't know about EJ not causing problems, he is a lot like his father when he was younger and well Quil was a bit outspoken in his prime, and still is". Jacob liked remembering the past so may things have changer over the years and he would not want it any other way. The best changes have happen in the past year and thought the road has been bumpy Jacob would not have it any other way.

The thought of EJ knowing that jumping made him bad made Renesmee laugh. It would be a lot easier to have EJ just phase in front of Alicia than to get a dog. That part made a lot of sense in her mind as she considered it. It still made her uneasy to do that while she was still so young, but she knew that Jacob would never do anything she was uncomfortable with, especially when it came to the baby. "Okay," she conceeded and smiled before adding, "We can let EJ phase around her first, but I do want to wait until she's a little bit older first." It was important to Renesmee that Alicia be old enough to understand that EJ would not hurt her.
After a few more seconds, Alicia started to get fussy again. Renesmee turned her attention back to the baby and began to bounce her a little in her arms, standing up from the bed and walking around the room. "You are just not in a good mood today little girl," she cooed softly, swaying back and forth to calm Alicia down. The motion seemed to work as Alicia's cried quieted. Renesmee breathed a sigh of relief and kissed Alicia's cheek gently. Turning back around, she walked over to Jacob. "I don't know why she is so fussy today. It's like she knows something is wrong that I can't figure out."

Jacob looked at Alicia as she cried in Nessie arms, He wanted to comfort his daughter and tell her that everything was okay and there was nothing to worry about. Jacob then remembered what his father used to do when he was little, Billy used to play the naive flute really well, Jake hand never been that good at it but he thought maybe if he played a little for Alicia made she would calm down. Jacob got off the bed and walked to the closet looking in a box of thing he brought over from the La push house it took him a few minutes but he found the flute. He picked it up and brought it over to the bed, I know only how to play one song on this because i had to learn for a Christmas concert at school but I will try t play and see if it will help her clam down. I am a little rusty so i hope it sounds okay" Jacob placed the flute to his lips and began playing silent night. Silent night on flute |

Renesmee watched as Jacob went to retrieve something and then listened as he explained about the flute. She smiled when he began playing because it was beautiful. As Jacob played, Renesmee watched as Alicia's eyes began to droop until she closed them and began to sleep. She felt the baby's body relax in her arms as she drifted into a peaceful sleep. When Jacob was done, Renesmee walked over to Alicia's bassinet and put the baby down in there before walking over to her husband. She kissed his lips and wrapped her arms around his neck. "You are amazing," she whispered. "Alicia loved it and fell asleep right away."
Smiling, she kissed his lips softly again and sat down on the bed next to him. She took his hand and held it, interlacing her fingers with his. "You know...I've been doing a lot of thinking lately," she said, keeping her voice to a whisper. "And I know that after our wedding, a lot of crazy stuff happened with the family...with Lexie, Jasper, and Alice especially. I just want our life to be normal again, like it was when we first got home from London. I miss that...I miss the way my family used to be. I miss Jasper even." She paused and took a deep breath, looking into the eyes of her husband. "No matter what Jasper has done, he is still part of the family and even if I'm angry with him, I miss him."

Jacob felt just like Nessie did, he loved how close everyone was when Nessie first returned and where up to her birthday party after that every thing began to change and It was all because of Crystal if she would have just stayed away no of the craziness would have happen in their lives. Crystal was still out there. " Nessie I wish i could fix everything if I could I would be out There right now doing it, to make you happy and to make the family happy but i don't think I could succeed in do it even if i put all my effort into doing so. I miss Jasper also... I just wish the everyone could get along again. I am sorry I can't make it better " Jacob wrapped his arms around Nessie and pulled her close. One of these days he hoped Jasper would return soon Jacob wanted him to be a part of his daughter's life, he always thought of Jasper as a good person who had made a few mistakes in his immortal life, everyone deserved a second chance.

Renesmee rested her head against her husband's shoulder and sighed. None of this was their fault, but she could not help but feel that way because she wanted her family to be together again. She knew that her family had been torn apart by Crystal coming in the first place. Had she never come, Jasper would have never doubted Alice the way he did and they would still be a happy family, with Jasper and Alice together. But that was something no one could change, not even if they could turn back time. And that was altogether impossible, even in the vampire world.
She raised her head from Jacob's shoulder and looked into his eyes again. "Jake, I know that none of this would have happened had Crystal not shown up and ruined everything," her tone icy on the very name she did not wish to ever speak again. "She is the original homewrecker, followed very closely by Lexie in second place. But, I don't want to get into that right now or I'll end up getting upset again. And Alicia does not need to see or hear anything about that since she is an innocent baby." Renesmee bit her lip and tried to calm herself down, taking deep breaths in and out of her nose.

I know it's okay Ness, one of these days all the stuff that has happened wont even seem so big anymore, I have faith in Jasper that one day he will return to the family. It might not be in the same as it was before all of this Mess but at let he will be a part of your lives." Jacob Puled Nessie in closer and rubbed his hand softly against her arm. " It's okay honey, just remember what ever happens I will be here for you, and the whole family. Jacob wished even second that her could fix the whole mess, he wished hat her could find Crystal , brings Jasper home and helps repair or at least mend the family back together. Jacob just wanted everyone to be a family again.

Renesmee sighed heavily and fell into Jacob's chest, relaxing her body for a few moments. In her mind, she knew that he was right and that things would get better sometime...even if it wasn't for a while. The only thing she regretted was the fact that Jasper was missing out on so much of the family's life. Even if he did tear apart the family through his actions and irresposibility, she still missed him from time to time, especially when she wanted someone to talk to about emotions...he knew them better than anyone because of his gift. "Don't get me wrong, I really like Evan and he has been nothing but amazing for Alice, but I truly miss the way things used to be with Alice and Jasper." She buried her face into her husband's chest and breathed in his scent before looking up into his eyes. "Promise me that if we ever fight, that we will never walk away from each other angry. Promise?"

Jacob looked back into his wife's eyes he wished they would never fight but you never knew what the future holds. " I promise Nessie, I just don't know how I will ever get mad at you, your nothing but perfect in my eyes and at everything you do. You a awesome mother Nessie." Jacob kissed her nose. I hope I will be a great father forever and always for Alicia. Jacob held Nessie hand He looked over the bassinet to look at Alicia it looked like she had a bit of a smile on her face. " She has your smiled I can see myself having ot chase the boys away when she gets older good thing I have this wolf gene I scare them so far way and tell them that big wolf is our pet Jacob smirked and laughed a bit, It wuld be something fun to look froward to.

Just hearing Jacob's reassurance made Renesmee feel that much better. She had seen what anger had done to Jasper and Alice's marriage and that was not something she could face. But knowing that Jacob could not really get angry with her made her feel that much more secure. When Jacob leaned over and looked into Alicia's bassinet before saying that she had her smile and that he would have to chase off all the boys, Renesmee smiled and knew that their daughter was the most beautiful thing on the planet to her. "You can chase off all the boys you want, but there will be that one that catches her eye and we will both have to deal with that," she teased in a whisper. "When that day comes, we'll have to both realize that our daughter is no longer a child then. But, for now, she is simply our baby. Our little one." She looked over into the bassinet at their sleeping child. Renesmee could tell she was dreaming by her facial expressions. "She is so sweet when she sleeps," she murmured.
