Vanessa walked into the diner and looked for an open seat. She saw one of the stools was open and quickly went to claim it. She had been so stressed since the move here and needed to get away. She ordered a cofee and a piece of cake and started eating. She wished she knew someone she could call to come hangout, or that she had all her old friend's phone numbers to call and complain too. Her first day at school hadn't been completely terrible. She had met a few nice people. Kate and Kenzie were nice. But she wanted more friends. Whatever. Complaining was never something she liked or was good at and she still wasn't. She liked to be upbeat and fun. Her waitress was named Jazmin and continually asked if she would like more cofee. SHe didn't. Honestly, the cofee was terrible. Hopefully her second day at Forks High School would be better.

Aiden, to be honest, was just plain bored. Junior year was coming to a close, so exams were coming up, but who was he joking- all his classes were like cake. Really, really good cake. Chocolate-y cake with thick vanilla icing and coconut sprinkled on the top- His thought, as he walked apathetically down the Forks sidewalk, was cut off suddenly by a low growl deep in the pit of his stomach. Sure, it was only, what, three in the afternoon? There's never a bad time for cake.
So, with that, he half-jogged his way down the sidewalk to the Forks diner, swinging the door open with a cheery jingle and taking the first seat he spotted- a stool at the bar. Without a second thought, he took his seat next to the brunette who just happened to be sitting beside his target. "'ey. Jazmin," he called in a low voice to the waitress who knew his impulses best, even if she didn't know his name.
Without a word, she'd placed the very item of his daydreams before him and had already stepped off to the side to scrawl his bill on her notepad. And, likewise as wordless, he picked up the fork she'd laid on his plate and began digging in, trying to not be too much of a pig about it for the little lady's shirt beside him's sake. It wouldn't do him any good to flick food all over her. Especially when he didn't know her, as he realized. Let's fix that. Looks like she probably goes to Forks High anyway.
"Hey," he said conversationally and spontaneously to her, having devoured his cake regardless in record time without having splattered too much and having turned his head in her direction. "I don't think I know ya, ma'am. You from around here?"

Ive been sitting her for half an hour now, I have to go home some time..... Vanessa thought to herself As soon as my cake is gone. With that she slowed down and started eating the danty little bites that reminded her of her mother. And why she didn't want to go home.
Vanessa was just about to finish her chocolate cake when someone sat next to her. Obviously, by the looks of it, enjoying the same cake. She looked over and noticed a gorgeous guy with short blonde hair sitting there. She was just about to leave, but he spoke to her. She smiled shyly "I just moved here a few days ago. Im Vanessa Camden... She took her last bite of cake, a fairly small one and pushed her plate to the side and turned towards him.
He seemed like the polite kind of guy, the kind she usually liked. with the ma'ams and probably sirs too. Obviously liked chocolate cake, and was devouring it the minute it was set in front of him. He looked to be around 16 or 17 and probably a junior. Pretty close to her age. This should be interesting. The first guy she had met in Forks, considering she is so shy she had not introduced herself to any guys today.
