Words failed to describe how happy Kenzie was at the moment. She was back in the arms of the one she loved the most. The warmth radiating from Jon's body was comforting, like filling a hole that had been punched in her heart from the three months without him. Her heart was healing already, having her one cure right there with her. Breaking their kiss, she sighed heavily and rested her forehead against his and kept her hands right on his chest. Never again...I don't think I could survive losing him again... her thoughts said. The rest of her body melded into him, so they were like one.
Looking into his eyes, she smiled and bit her lip. The joy in her heart was overflowing into her smile as she could feel her face literally glowing. Nothing compared to this moment and how happy she was. Hearing him call her his soulmate made her heart soar to new heights that she didn't think were possible. His lips on hers cemented the fact that they were really together again. She knew, in the back of her mind, that Lucy and Katelyn would give her hell about the entire situation later but for now, that was not important. The only important thing to her was standing less than five inches away from her with his arms wrapped around her back and his lips on hers.
Kenzie broke their kiss and looked into his eyes again, smiling. How could I have ever doubted him and even thought for one second that he would have ever hurt me? she asked herself silently. Jon was the single most wonderful thing to have ever walked into her life and she would never let him go again. Laying her head on his warm and inviting chest, she whispered, "I love you...oh so much."
