[Raine] Girls Night Out.....

[Sadie Leigh Harper]

Sadie had texted Raine earlier in the day, asking her if she was up for a girls night out. After graciously agreeing, Sadie told her that she would be at Vixen in Seattle around 7:30/8 o'clock. She was so happy that Raine agreed to meet up with her. She had some exciting news and wanted to also update her on her unofficial days at The Seattle Times.

Entering Vixen, Sadie immediately walked up to the bar and order a martini. She waited for Raine while slowly sipping on her drink. It was 7:47 so she was safe for now. There was no guarantee Sadie could be mad at Raine for being late. It was not in her nature and she liked Raine too much.

Raine was happy to get the invite from Sadie.
They havent seen each other since Raines birthday in January.
Raine didnt come to the school anymore, she had dropped out, she just didnt have the time for it anymore.

Raine entered Vixen and found Sadie sipping on a drink.
"Hey girl" Raine said to her and gave her a hug.
Raine was happy to get away from the Cullens and Forks, even just for a few hours.
"So, how are you? I havent seen you since my birthday" Raine asked her and nodded to a free table near them, in a question to sit down.

Sadie squealed when Raine came in. She hugged her back. "Raine! Oh my gosh, I'm so happy to see you." She followed her friend and sat down. "I'm fabulous. My unofficially started internship is hell, but I love it." She giggled. "Oh, and there's a boy." She raised her eyebrows, hinting to Raine that there was someone that she liked.

Raine laughed at Sadie, she just had to.
"Hell, a boy, ill say thats a good reason to stay hehe, So, tell me about it all" Raine demanded Sadie in a happy tone.
Raine knew that there was someone out there for Sadie, just like it had been for herself and Leah.
Raine hoped that this boy would be the one for Sadie, she deserved it.

Sadie laughed with Raine. "He'd better be. He's not here. I don't know where he is actually. But his name is Caden. I met him in Forks and we ran into eachother in Seattle again one day." She sighed, dreamily. "He's so amazing, Raine. I just can't tell him how I really feel. Besides, I did something.....really bad." She looked down, ashamed. "My reporter instincts got the best of me so I ran a background check on him."

Raines mouth fell open.
"You did what, a background check. Geez, sometimes you need to know when not to be a reporter. It wouldnt matter if he had been in jail or worse, if you really like him thats all that matters. Forget everything about that background check, if there is anything he wants you to know, he will tell you" Raine said and sighed.
Sometimes Sadie was a reporter that didnt knew when to stop.
If she had tried to run a background check on her she wouldnt have found anything at all.

"Oh, Raine, I really do like him and that should be all that matters." She sighed and looked up. "Oh, God, what am I gonna do, Rai?" she asked in a whinny, worried tone. "I can't tell him what I know. Besides, what I know is.....really bad."

Raine sighed.
"Ok now you have to tell me what you found out, and ill help you out if i can, and just so you know, im capable of doing alot of things" Raine said and put a finger on her nose.
She waited for Sadie to speak up.
Raine laughed inside her mind, what Sadie had found about this boy couldnt possibly be something to chok Raine.
After living more than 200 years you have seen it all.

Sadie sighed. "He has a kid." Her words were quite and almost inaudible, being drowned out by the music. She put her head in her hands. She did not cry, but she was shaken. "Oh, Raine, it's bad. It's really bad." She looked back up. "What do I do?"

Raine laughed, she couldnt help it.
"A kid, thats whats so bad? a kid isnt a bad thing you know, its a good thing, i wish i could have kids one day" Raine said and smiled.
She took Sadies hand and held it in hers.
"So what, he has a kid, its not bad, that shouldnt change how you feel about him" Raine said in a comforting voice.
Raine smiled to her dear friend, not knowing why a kid could upset her so much.

Sadie half-grinned, half-frowned at Raine. "Thanks Raine. I know it shouldn't be a big deal, but the problem is his past is pretty obvious now. He was a bad boy. Good boys don't have sex with people. And if they do, then they shouldn't be hypocrites." She sighed, all expression on her face gone. "I just have to relax and kick back. Maybe he won't be mad at me."

Raine smiled to her friend.
" Yeah sit back and relax, dont tell him that you checked his background, if he likes you he will tell you when he is ready. And who knows, maybe a child around you will be good, maybe it can teach you to put the reporter in you away when your in private." Raine said to her friend.
Raine smiled and waved for the waitor to bring other drinks.

Raine suddenly jumped up.
"hey we are having a girls night out, lets drink, its all on me, and lets dance right now" She said and dragged Sadie out on the dance floor, trying to let her mind forget about this guy and his child. Raine started dancing to the song, hoping that Sadie would follow her lead.

Sadie laughed when Raine pulled her onto the dance floor and started dancing. She danced with her, warmed up a little bit, not so scared about Caden anymore. She just let herself go and danced like crazy with her friend. Tonight was about the two of them. Girls night, just like Raine had said.

Raine smiled seeing Sadie loosen up.
She danced like crazy and had fun.
Raine well knew alot of people was looking at her since her vampiric beaty made them look.
Raine smiled to herself.
Letting go of her black look had been good for her.
The music slowed down and Raine sat down at their table again.

Sadie danced and when Raine went back to their table, so did she. She giggled as they sat down. "That was so much fun. I can't believe this place. It's amazing, don't you think?" She called the bartender to get some drinks. She was dehydrated now.
