Edward really did not want to tell his beautiful daughter about the time before she was born, he had hoped that this day would never come but knew that it would. "I was terrified, because we did not know that I could get, your mom pregnant. We thought that it was impossible." He said taking a deep breath. He knew that he needed to continue but he did not want to tell her that at first he did not want her, that he wanted to kill her. "There was a lot that happened in that month, that scaried the hell out of me." He said to her and left it at that. He knew that he would not lie to her but he was not going to volunteer the information freely either.

"But Mom knew that everything was going to be okay," she said, looking her father in the eyes. Renesmee knew that her parents both loved her deeply and had since she entered the world that fateful September day so many years before. And now she was the one bringing the next generation of their family into the world through her and Jacob's child. "Dad, do you think that my baby will be born as violently as I was?" she asked, curious as to how things would work out for her own child. For everyone's sake, she hoped that her birth would at least be somewhat normal since the baby was only a fourth vampire, but there was never any way to be sure.

Edward heard his daughter's question and shuddered. That was not a thought that he had wanted to consider. "I don't think that it will, since it will only be a quarter vampire, but I am not sure. We really don't know, we are in uncharted waters, Nessie. We never thought after you were born that we would have to deal with this issue. We just assumed that once she finished growing and reached full maturity that you would freeze like the rest of the female's in the family." He told her honestly. He knew that this was going to be a difficult time for them all as they wondered what would happen.

Renesmee knew that her and Jacob's baby was going to be a one-of-a-kind child. No one had expected her to even have children because she was half-vampire and vampire woment did not have children. However, she figured in her mind that her human side must have been more dominant at the time the baby was conceived. It made sense if she thought about it enough. "Jacob and I have talked about it a lot since I found out and told him that I was pregnant. Even though we're both really scared, we know that we want this baby more than anything," she said. "And with everything going on in the family right now, we know that this is not the best time to bring a baby into the world, but it's happened and we cannot reverse what's already been done."

Edward did not totally agree with his daughter about this being the right time, but that was all that he did not agree with her on. "Nessie, I know that you are worried about the family, but don't. We will get through this like we always have. As for the baby, I think that it is wonderful. I am happy for you and you will make a wonderful mom." He said to his daughter, smiling that crooked smile that her mother loved at her.

"I'll try not to worry so much," she promised. "If not for anyone else but the baby; I'll do whatever it takes for my child. Hearing her father say that she would be a wonderful mother made her blush a little. He had always been one to give compliments that made her feel better about anything. "Thank you Daddy. I learned from the two best parents in the world and I know that Jake and I'ls child will be raised much the same way."

Edward knew that his daughter was happy and wanted her to be close to them during this time. "I know that you and Jake have been staying on the reservation, but I would feel more comfortable if the two of you stayed at the mansion until after the baby is born, that way we have all of the medical equipment there and ready for any thing that we may need it for." He said to her. Edward did not want any thing going wrong now, and he would give them the house after the baby is born, that way he can set up a nursery for the baby.

Renesmee nodded in understanding. "I will talk to Jake about it because I know that it will pull him away from his pack more, but he is willing to do that for the baby," she said before beginning to laugh. "At least Alice will have someone there all the time to keep her entertained. She'll have tons of fun going through books of baby stuff with me." Knowing her aunt the way she did, Renesmee knew that by the time she had her baby, Alice would already have everything ready.

Edward laughed knowing the Nessie was right about Alice. He would have to get her in on the planning of the nursery. "Alice, does love to plan things. She has Raine and Arkan's wedding coming still though to." Edward said reminding her that Alice had alot to do around the mansion. "But you are right, she will have you looking at baby things left and right." Edward knew that Alice would go overboard if he did not keep an eye on her.

"Oh I know she has a lot of planning to do there," she said, smiling. "By the time Raine gets married, I will have either given birth to this baby or be right on the verge of having it." That thought made her laugh. Her own wedding had been less than six months before Raine's would most likely be and she was already going to be a mother before her friend even walked down the aisle. "Speaking of Alice, Jake and I have decided that we are going to ask her to be the godmother for the baby," she said indefinitely, playing with a few strands of her hair. "She was there for me when I first thought I was pregnant and took me to take the test. And after, she was the one who took care of me when I was terrified of the outcome, telling me that everything was going to be alright. You think she will like that?"
