Nathaniel was far from the young women before they began talking among one another. It would have been too great a distance for any human to hear what they were saying, but not to far for a vampire. He smiled to himself and bit back a small laugh as he heard them teasing each other; it was obvious that they were close as friends could be. He listened to his angel speak, correction her name was Kate. Nathaniel smiled and felt a burning desire to go back and speak with them again. He knew that the women for the most part feared him but there was a strong gravitation that he felt towards the one called Kate. Nathaniel mentally prepared himself for the women to run away but he stopped walking towards Forks and turned back to the women.
He slowly walked back towards the women and stopped short of the women and he allowed a small laugh to escape his lips, “Excuse me ladies but I have just realized I do not have any clues to which way Port Angeles is.” Nathaniel allowed his friendly smile to remain in place and he hoped that it also read with a little humility at his forgetful action. Now was one of the few times that Nathaniel wished he was a human to add a small blush to what he was saying. By that same token though he was glad that he was not blushing in front of the three women, especially his angel.

Kenzie watched with amusement as Katelyn and Lucy went at it. This was a rare event as it was usually herself and Lucy being the ones at each other's throats with the sarcasm and banter. Katelyn was usually the peacekeeper of the group, but in this situation...it was all to funny not to sit back and just watch. She could tell right off the bat that Katelyn thought the newcomer named Nathaniel was attractive. Kenzie knew her best friend well. Just as she was going to insert her two cents worth, the guy actually came back.
Taken completely off-guard, Kenzie jumped and had to immediately calm herself down or she would have gone schitzo on the poor guy when he was only being polite and asking for directions. "Oh, I'm sorry," she apologized. "I should have realized that you were new to the area and wouldn't know where Port Angeles was. You just take the highway straight out of Forks heading North. It's about an hour's drive away, give or take a few minutes."
