Alice looked at Bella, almost to weak to fight. "I'm not going to be a step mommy to that baby." Alice said, she didn't even want to think about that thing growing inside the slut she had yet to meet. "I want a divorce Bella." She said looking into Bellas eyes. "And I want one soon." Alice had her mind set on what she wanted and there was no turning back.

Bella held her sister tightly. "And no one expects you to be a mother to that child," she reassured her. The only person she knew who had done something similar was Rose, but she had been forwarned about Emmett's affair and had accepted it because it was a means to get the child she so desperately wanted. Not to mention that she and Emmett had been technically separated at the time. But Alice, her sweet sister that gave everything she had to Jasper, she didn't deserve that. "If that is what you want," she said in reference to the divorce. "Then Edward and I will stand behind you because you are our sister and we love you."

Alice wrapped her arms around Bellas body. "Thank you Bells." She felt like she was about to cry even though she knew she wouldn't. "I don't know what to do Bells. Jasper was my love, he was my everything and he went and did this. I feel so lost." Alice hugged Bella tighter. She had been gone and for that she felt like what Jasper did was her fault, however there was also the feeling of hurt that her husband was having a child from someone else.
Since Alice had been gone Rosalie and Emmet had a child and Bella and Edward and Nessie, And now Jasper was having a child with someone else that wasn't her. Alice had always wanted a child of her own, but being a vampire she could not have one. This made Alice hurt even more.

Bella felt Alice's grip tighten on her as she listened to her. This was the last thing she wanted to see her sister go through and her heart bled for Alice. Jasper had done the ultimate wrong in betraying his wife, even if he had a choice in the matter or not. No matter what had happened that night, the fact was that he still had slept with Lexie and gotten her pregnant. Gently she let go of Alice and brought her eyes back level with her own so that she could speak. "Look at me Alice, I know that right now you are confused and hurt. Jasper did the worst thing any husband could do to his wife and he will be paying for it because I'm not going to let him get off easy on this," she said. But, you still have me, Edward, Nessie, Jacob, Emmett, Rosalie, Carlisle, Esme, and Evan who all care about you deeply. We are going to be here for you through this. I promise."

Alice looked at Bella. "And you all have something I can never have." Alice said standing up and going to her dresser drawer and pulling one of the drawers out. She pulled out a small torn up doll. With her back towards Bella Alice started to talk. "This is the one thing I have always kept from my human life Bella." She turned around and showed Bella the torn up doll. "I have always wanted a child Bells, but I;ve always just accepted that I will never be able to have one. And now I come home and find that Rose and Emmet have a child, and now Jasper, my own husband is having a baby with someone other than me." Alice fell to the floor again and held the doll. "I am alone Bells. All Alone and you will never know this felling. No matter what you say."

Silently, Bella watched as Alice went to the drawer and pulled out something to show her. When she turned around, it was a tattered doll. She listened quietly as Alice mourned the fact that she could not have children. That was one thing she never knew about Alice; that she wanted to have children of her own. She had always known that about Rosalie and was happy when little Maden appeared in their lives. And now she could really see how Jasper's infidelity was really taking a toll on her sister.
When Renesmee was born, the entire family was just happy to have one child. Rosalie had mothered Renesmee in a way, but Alice had always been the aunt figure. Bella had always been thankful for both Rosalie and Alice's influence on her daughter. Now she could see that Alice wanted that mothering experience for herself, to have her own child. "Oh Alice," she whispered softly and moved closer to her sister again. "I don't know what to say because I know that nothing will be comforting, so I won't even begin to say that I understand how you feel. My heart bleeds for you. But, I disagree that you are all alone. You still have family that is here and loves you."

Alice looked at Bella with a more serous look. "How close are you to this cousin of yours?" Alice asked Bella with a hash tone to her voice. Alice thought that if Bella was not close to her cousin then they family could send Jasper and her away to live and never come back. Alice waited for Bella to answer her.

"Lexie is only my fifth cousin and she hasn't been living with us that long," Bella replied. "So, not that close." A sick sense of curiousity overflowed Bella's mind and she wondered what Alice was thinking. Not that her sister would ever do anything to harm anyone, she just was curious. "What are you thinking about Alice?" she asked.

Alice looked at Bella. "Then we can send her and Jasper away and tell them to never come back." Alice said taking Bellas shoulders and looking into her eyes. "We can send them both away and then we never have to see them again." Alice said out loud. She thought that this would be the best thing to do with Jasper and Lexie.

Bella felt Alice's hands on her shoulders and listened intently to her words about sending Jasper and Lexie away. "But do you really think that Jasper would leave?" she asked. In her mind, she knew that it would be a good solution to keep Jasper away from Alice that way she could recover from his betrayal. But, if she knew Jasper, which she did, she knew he would fight like hell to stay. "I mean, I agree with you on sending them away. That would just be better for the family, but you have to consider Lexie's twin Veronica too...she won't let her sister leave."

Alice looked at Bella. "Then we will send all of them away!" Alice said has she stood up and put the old doll back away. "I can't be in this house anymore Bella. I need to go some where else to live for the time being." Alice walked and sat back on the bed.

Bella got up and sat next to her sister, putting her arm around her shoulder. Alice was about the tiniest adult she had ever known, but that was just how her sister was. "We will think of something Alice, I promise you that," she vowed. "There is no way on earth I'm going to let Jasper drive you away from this family again. Edward and I would sooner kick him out than let you leave again." And that was the truth of the matter in Bella's mind. She would rather lose a brother, whom she didn't even consider a brother anymore, than lose her best friend and dear sister.
She got up from the bed and began to pace the room, trying to think of a solution. "How about you live not too far from me and Edward? There are a few houses down the way that no one has lived in for years and they're perfect," Bella suggested.

Alice smiled at Bella when she suggested the houses down the way. "Yeah maybe that will work. Evan and I will check them out>' Alice smiled. "I have always wanted to decorate a place of my own. And it's a reason to go shopping and buy new things." Alice giggled. She then looked at Bella. "Bells, that thing I told you about wanting a child, please don't tell anyone. I have never told anyone that, not even Edward or Evan. Let's just keep that between you and I, okay?" Alice asked her knowing that Bella would to just as she asked.

Bella smiled at her sister's brighter disposition. This was the Alice she knew and adored, always looking for the good in things...and of course, the shopping. That's when she turned serious again about not telling anyone about her wish to have children. Bella nodded, "I promise and it'll be easy because Edward can't read my mind. I'm a mental mute to him," she grinned. The thought that Alice wanted to be a mother got Bella to thinking about things. She remembered the moment she realized she was pregnant with Renesmee, the fear and intense love she felt for the baby growing inside of her. Turning to Alice again, she asked "Can I tell you something and you promise never to tell another soul so long as you live?"

Alice was taken back that Bella had a secret from her. "You mean there is something you've never told me before?" Alice said in a shocked voice. "Do tell me!" Alice jumped up on her knees and faced Bella. "I promise not to tell a soul." She smiled and then took her hand to her lips and acted as tho she was zipping her lips up and then locking them.
