"Sometimes I think about if I hadn't moved up here. How different my life might have been," Bella mused. "I would have never known of the world of vampires and wolves the way I do now. They would have always remained myths and stories to me. And I wouldn't have the family I do now. Lingering on that thought made her miss her daughter a little Having Renesmee gone made her heart strings tug a little more because her daughter was not there every day for her to dote on.
"I still remember the first time I ever saw Edward," she chuckled on the memory. "It was on my first day at Forks High, where I just wanted to disappear and become a wall-flower, which is epically impossible in a small school. So, I had the pleasure of being shown around by some other students. By the time we got to lunch, they had considered me part of their 'crowd' so to speak. That's when I saw him and his siblings for the first time. They were enchantingly beautiful and I was curious about them the minute I saw them." Bella smiled, as if she were reliving that moment all over again in her mind. Edward had captured her interest the second she saw him and she couldn't help but stare.
"After that first day though, Edward left for a week and I had no idea why. It wasn't until after I learned he was a vampire that it was because of my scent. It was...alluring to him unlike any others he had come across in a human," she explained further, shuffling some more of the snow between her shoes. "Our relationship was always dangerous for me though because I was human and so fragile. He always thought that he was condemning my soul for being with me because I wanted to become just like him. Finally, after a long while of convincing and bargaining, we were married and I was changed after our daughter's birth." In her mind, Bella knew she was only skimming the surface of her and Edward's relationship, but there was so much more to it than that to just go through all at once after just meeting a new friend. After all, she didn't want to overwhelm Ryssa. "You should definitely meet Edward," she said. "He's one of those people that it's just really hard to hate him."
