Carlisle did now how to respond to Esme's question, as she asked if there was any way she could repay his kindness. He kept his eyes on her, as she was so breath takingly beautiful. He felt he could ask for a kiss or even her hand in marriage, but knew none of that would ever be possibly. He sighed some and then smiled, "There no need for repayment, all I ask is that you continue to be as lovely as you are and take great care of your child and love with every being in you, which I am not worried because I know you will."
He looked over her chart some and made some notes. He then looked at her and smiled again. As he gave her a soothing nod and gave her reassurance of Esme extending her stay. He would let her stay forever if she chose to remain under his care, she would forever be his angel. "Of course you can stay Esme, you can stay as long you need to, and I will continue to be here for you if you need me."

Esme nodded at Carlisle when he said there was need for repayment. "Carlisle I will do that indeed, and it should not be difficult to accomplish." Esme blushed she was finally feeling very heath and satisfied after eating a little bit. When she heard Carlisle say that she was allows to stay in the hospital a bit and heal Esme was happy, the more she was able the heal the stronger she could be for her baby.
Esme had never met another person in the would as nice as Carlisle he seemed to care about her and the well being for her child. He was both a Total gentleman and a caring doctor she would be happy to call him her friend.

Carlisle nodded and smiled at that, he had no doubt in his mind that Esme would be the perfect mom and that this child would be the luckiest in the world the minute she gave birth to it and it could lock eyes with her. He could just see it, Esme raising her child and giving it the warmth and unconditional love it deserves. He knew Esme was full of love and compassion. He would cherish all the time he had with her, while she was still under his care.
Carlisle sighed some as he looked at his watch and knew he had to make his rounds and eventually go home to pretend that he was sleeping. Although he did not want to go, he knew people would become suspicious of him if he didn't. He looked at Esme and gave her some ice packs for her leg as he knew it was helping. "Esme I have to go make my rounds, but I will be back to check on you before I go home for the day, but I will be back shortly to check on you again."

Esme listen to Carlisle as he spoke and nodded. "Ok doctor I should try to get some rest anyway I know the more I rest the quicker I will heal. I will look forward to seeing you again after your rounds. Till then. If i am sleeping Carlisle. Have a good night." Esme smiled at Carlisle ad made herself comfortable in her bed. she rested her head on the pillow for and watched him as he exited the room before closing her eyes.
