The wait is over for Delilah Knightly and Noah Collins. Delilah had survived the pregnancy without killing, yelling, or even phasing for three months. Basically let her pregnancy hormones come over her. Being a wolf always had their advantages. Like healing quickly, eating lots of food and not gaining a pound, growing tall (for guys and sometimes for girls). Most importantly for girls…pregnancy. That’s right when a female wolf is pregnant; her child grows quickly inside her womb than normal human would. Overall, she’s just glad that she didn’t have to wait for eight long months before she could see her little angels.
That early morning, Delilah was rushed to the hospital when she started having contractions. Being glad that Noah was home, he took her to the hospital within minutes. She was in the room, needles on her arm, as she waited to be in labor. It wasn’t she was hoping for, but she was willing to do anything just to see her little angels. To distract herself, she thought about her life that will change in matter of time. Delilah couldn’t believe that right there, at the same moment, she would in the hospital having twins with a perfect guy that would be taking care of her and the twins afterwards. Noah was going to be home with her and twins twenty-four seven til they are couple of months. She had told both Nessie and Jacob that she’ll need Noah home once the twins are born.
Since Jacob was on his honeymoon with Nessie, she was home alone while Noah does more patrols. And doing more patrols, he doesn’t get enough sleep, which he needed to. Delilah didn’t know how she was going to survive after the twins are born. She’ll be taking care of the twins along with Noah.

Noah had rushed Delilah to the hospital early in the morning when she started feeling contractions. This was it; he really was going to be a father in a matter of hours. When they arrived, he called his mom to let her know that Delilah was in labor so that she could be there for the birth of her grandchildren. Upon arriving, Dr. Cullen was paged but he was unavailable because of an emergency situation, so Delilah was put under the care of a trusted friend that was another maternity doctor.
Once they were set up, Noah stayed at Delilah's side dutifully through all of her contractions to keep her calm and somewhat comfortable. In a few short hours, he would be meeting the two children he and Delilah had created out of love and devotion to one another. A son and a daughter...a miracle.

Delilah was little mess while she was in the hospital. Her hair was knotty, in loose bun, not feeling good as the contractions come and go. She was glad that Noah was going to be there when she delivers the twins better yet, she just hopes that she doesn’t have to do C-Section like other moms. Then again, it might be easier for her since she doesn’t have to push. But whatever it was, she has enough faith in herself that she’s going to deliver the twins without going to C-Section.
When the doctor came in, looking through the papers which was little disturbing for Delilah. The doctor looked at Delilah then Noah before saying anything. "Ms. Knightly, how are you feeling?" Delilah gave a weak smile as she answered the doctor. "I’m fine…just when do you think it’ll be ready?" No one can blame her on how she was getting worried about the twins. "That’s good. I’m going to say an hour or so til you can see your twins. I’ll be right back." With that, the doctor left leaving Delilah and Noah. She looked at Noah once the doctor was out, reading his eyes, she knew that he was getting excited to see the twins. "Only matter of an hour now." Delilah whispered.

The doctor came in and checked on Delilah, telling them that there was about an hour left until they would meet their children for the first time. Noah was nervous and excited at the same time to become a father. He knew there was no turning back now; the twins were on their way and he would soon have a son and daughter to look after. If their son took after him, he would be chasing the little boy all over the place soon enough and if their daughter took after Delilah, he'd be beating boys off with a stick when she grew older. Neither extreme would he mind though, so long as their children were happy and healthy.
"An hour more," he murmured back to Delilah, confirming that he was excited. Everything he had dreamt, read, and thought about was coming true in these few hours in the hospital. Despite outside beliefs, he had read the books about becoming a new father and thought about what he was going to do when the twins came.

The room was ready, two closets full of tiny clothes for her daughter and son, diapers, cribs, carseat…everything was ready to go. They don’t have anything left to do other than to meet their kids. Being with Noah, she didn’t know how the time passed but was glad that it passed. The nurse would come in every ten to fifteen minutes just to check on her and to her surprise; the whole hour had not passed when she went into labor. The nurse immediately called the doctor and moved her to the operating room. The pain was killing her, feeling her waterbag broke, watching as everyone got ready she was getting more nervous about it.
Once everything was ready, the doctor was excited to see another baby in his life. He had been doing his for years, so he knows what he’s doing. He told Delilah that he could see a head and push. Delilah wasn’t going to argue with the doctor anymore, she just needed to see her twins and get done with the pain. She pushed as much as she had in her, she screamed like any labor mom would. Tears were coming down her cheeks as she heard first cry of her baby. The doctor quickly cut the umbilical cord, then gave it to the nurse to label is A then clean it. "One more to go. Baby girl is on her way." With that, Delilah couldn’t resist anymore, she needed to hear the cry of her baby girl. She didn’t know how much she pushed to get her baby girl out but when she couldn’t she held Noah’s hand tighter, if he was human then his hand would have throbbed really hard, but glad that he isn’t. With her next push, she heard high pitched cry, knowing that she was done with pushing and her twins are now born.
Delilah relaxed and looked up at Noah smiling. The doctor cut the umbilical cord, gave to the nurse who labeled it B and cleaned it before giving it to her. She was waiting to see her twins, as she waited she looked at Noah’s eyes more relaxed then she ever was in her life. When the doctor gave the twins to Delilah to hold, she smiled and held them for the first time in her arms. They were just adorable little thing that she ever saw in her life. "Hey there. I finally got to see you now. You’re going to be..." Delilah looked at Noah who was going to name the twins.

By the time the hour was up, Noah was anxious to see the twins. When the doctor came in and said it was time for Delilah to push, Noah's heart began to race. This was really happening; right then. The doctor instructed Delilah to push down as hard as she could and Noah watched as his fiancee struggled to bring the first of their children into the world. In utter awe, Noah watched as his son entered the world, screaming and crying. He watched as the doctor handed off the baby boy to a nurse, who took him over to clean him off while the doctor went to deliver their daughter.
Delilah tightened her grip on his hand, which held no affect for him as he had the strength of a wolf, and she began to push once more. A few more pushes and he heard the most beautiful sound in the world; the high-pitched cry of his daughter. For a moment, he stole away from Delilah to go over to the twins. The nurse gave him a pair of scissors to cut the rest of the umbilical cord, like all new fathers did. It gave him joy to see his two beautiful children; both healthy and screaming.
When her returned to Delilah's side, he saw she was much more relaxed. The nurse brought over the twins and handed them to Delilah to hold for the first time. He watched as she greeted their babies and then looked to him to name them. "Tristan Arthur for our son," he murmured. Using his father's name had been important to Noah as it would continue his father's legacy. "And Madeline Elizabeth for our daughter. We can call her Maddie." Gently, he leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on each of the twins foreheads before kissing Delilah softly on the lips. "Thank you for giving me the two most beautiful children in the world."

Holding the two most beautiful, adorable twins; Delilah couldn't wait to bring them home. It was just unbelievable that she gave birth to twins that she will love and take care of them through out her life. They were just perfect no matter what. Once the pain part was over, she had deal with people coming over to see them. If her parents and Noah's dad was still alive, they would love their grandchildren so much. Better yet they'll pamper them even when Delilah restricted them not to. It was their grandchildren and only, so of course they would have pamper them.
Once Noah named the twins, Delilah looked down at the twins and kissed their head lightly. They were sound asleep in her arms when Noah kissed the twins then her lips lightly. "I love you." She smiled at Noah before they took her back to her room. Her days, now on, would be happy and busy. Both of the parents would be running after the twins as soon as they started to walk and talk. When she was in her room, she hoped that their mom would come down and see her grandchildren. Delilah was little worn out, the twins were next to her in little crib, sleeping. Slowly she drifted of to sleep but couldn't sleep though.

As soon as they were taken back to their room, Noah gazed at their twins in the little hospital cribs they were sleeping in. Delilah was trying to get some rest, so he just sat and watched them in awe. They were absolutely beautiful. Tristan started to stir a little and whine, so he picked him up gently out of his crib. This was the first time he had ever held a newborn. Staring at his son, he marvelled at the beauty of what he and Delilah had created. My son... he thought. Noah wished his own father could be there and share in this moment with him.
A few minutes later, Maddie joined her brother in Noah's arms. As he held his children, he couldn't help but love them. Maddie had all of her mom's beauty and more. Both of the twins had his lighter hair, but their mom's nose. And while he held them, he spoke to them in a whisper, "I promise that I am going to be here for you two no matter what. I love you both."

Who would have thought that giving birth to twins would be hard and tiring at the same time? Delilah had her experience with it and doesn’t want to do it again…well depending but she doesn’t want to have another child in the house til Tristan and Maddie grows up. She was in deep sleep didn’t even hear Tristan’s whine nor Maddie’s. Delilah was exhausted and needed rest more than anything at the moment.
Megara was full of excitement when Delilah went into labor. She couldn’t wait to see her grandchildren and hold then in her arms. Happily, she drove to the Forks Hospital and parked her car before going to see her grandchildren. When she reached where Delilah, Noah and the twins were, she opened the door quietly and the first thing she saw was Delilah sleeping. She remembered when she had given birth to Noah and she was tired as well. When Megara saw Noah holding two babies in his arms, she smiled and went to his side. "Hello there." She said smiling to her grandkids and her son at the same time. Seeing that both of the kids had Noah’s light hair color and features of Delilah. "What are their names?" Carefully she took one of the twin in her arms then sat down.

Noah smiled the moment his mother walked into the room. He knew she was excited and ready to see her grandchildren. Gently, he transferred one of the twins to his mom's arms before she sat down. "The one you're holding is Tristan; Tristan Arthur, like Dad's name. And this little one," he whispered nodding to his daughter in his arms, "is Madeline Elizabeth. We call her Maddie." He chuckled softly and looked down at his daughter. She truly was beautiful, just like her mother. He could feel his heartstrings pull and knew that Maddie would definitely be a daddy's girl as he was already wrapped around her little finger.
Watching his mother hold his son, he knew that his life was forever changed. There would be no more late night parties or as many wolf patrols. All of his life belonged to his kids and Delilah now. "I didn't think that I could be this happy ever again after Dad died, but now I realize that life is all about beginnings and endings," he whispered to his mom. "And this is definitely a good new beginning."

Tears overwhelmed her eyes and ran down her cheeks once Noah had told her the name of the twins. She looked down at Tristan, who was named after his grandfather, and her husband. Then looked at the little girl that Noah was holding, Maddie. She was just adorable, and seeing her sleeping made her realize that Noah and Delilah are going to be great parents. Of course, she’s going to be there for first couple of months til both Noah and Delilah get use to baby things. It’ll be family bonding that she needed with her future daughter-in-law. "You’re dad is proud of you. He always was and always will. Tristan and Madeline are perfect name for the twins." Megara whispered back as she wished that her husband was alive to see the day. "Who knew that I am a grandma before my son gets married. Tristan looks just like you when you were born, Noah. And little Maddie looks like her mother." She chuckled then got up to place Tristan in his crib when he was asleep.

Noah smiled at his mom when she said that his father was proud of him. He had always known that, even when his dad was alive, because his father always told him. There were days, like this one, where Noah missed his father a lot. But, he knew that no matter where he was, his father would always be with him and watch over him. And he was definitely there right then in the moment Noah became a father, guiding him to the man he was going to become.
As his mom got up to put Tristan down, he just couldn't bring himself to put Maddie back in her crib. She was just too precious lying there in his arms asleep. "Maddie does look just like Delilah," he agreed quietly. "but she's got a little bit of you in her too. See her hands, they're just like yours." Softly, he showed Maddie's little hands to his mom and they were just the same, only much smaller.

Megara watched Delilah as she was sleeping. She was already like a daughter to her which it was a good thing for her. Because mother-in-law and daughter-in-law don’t get along very well, and thanks to Noah who was away for a week, she got to know her better. She kissed her forehead before returning to Noah who was still holding Maddie. From that moment, she knew that she’s going to be little daddy’s girl. It was little hard for her to say for Tristan.
Hearing what Noah said about Maddie having some of her trait, she smiled as she looked at the tiny little hand. "Yes she does. But overall she looks exactly like Delilah. Is everything ready when you bring Delilah and the little ones home?" Megara hadn’t talked in detail with either of them so she was little left out on the things. Both she and Arthur had raised a strong boy who doesn’t leave anything behind.

Noah smiled when his mother asked if they were ready to bring the twins home. He was more than ready and was excited to finally have them at home with Delilah. "We're ready," he whispered in a small chuckle. "Their nursery has been ready for the last week or so. All we needed were the twins and they're finally here. But, the doctor wants to keep the babies and Delilah here for tonight and tomorrow night for observation." That was standard protocol for newborn multiples; Dr. Cullen had made sure that he and Delilah were briefed on that when they first found out they were having twins.
Quietly, he walked over and put Maddie into Tristan's crib, right next to her brother. He had read that it was better to bunk multiples together so that they would feel the closeness they had felt in the womb. Gently, he rubbed his sleeping son's cheek before turning his attention on his fiancee. He walked over and kissed her forehead and brushed back her hair as she slept. She had given him the most precious gift and he loved her dearly for that. They were parents and the reality of that was still setting in. However, he was ready for the challenge of raising twins, so long as he had Delilah at his side.

Delilah opened her eyes slowly as she felt someone kiss her forehead the second time. She looked up and saw Noah. By now she thought that he would have been on the phone outside calling people about the birth of the twins. Before she said anything, she saw Megara on the couch sitting. Delilah hoped that she didn't bothered their talk. "Um...hi." Everything seemed little surreal for her that she was in the hospital, the twins were born and Megara was there.
Megara watched her son as she got up and placed Maddie next to Tristan. She was and always will be proud of her son no matter what he decides in his life. She looked at Delilah when she talked. "You should go back to sleep, sweetie. You need rest. Noah and I are here if the twins starts crying." She assured her smiling.
When Megara assured her that everything is fine and she should go back to sleep. She just couldn't at the moment. "I'm fine, mom." Delilah said smiling yet restlessly.
