First off let me welcome you to the site. We are happy to have you join us. This thread is to help those new to the site find their way around the first few things that need to be done.
The first and most important thing is to read the rules. Here are the steps to get to the rules.
On the home page, under "a Supermassive Black Hole".
1. Click on "Ooh Baby Don't You Know I Suffer, Ooh Baby Can You Hear Me Moan?"
2. Then click on "The Bible of SUPERMASSIVE TWILIGHT!!!".
Next you should read the plot so that you know what is going on, on the site.
The Site plot is found by follow this steps:
On the home page under, "a Supermassive Black Hole".
1. Click on "Ooh Baby Don't You Know I Suffer, Ooh Baby Can You Hear Me Moan?"
2. Click on "Supermassive TWILIGHT [The Plot!]".
3. Read the plot
Once you have read the rule and the plot, your next step is to decide if you want to play a Cannon character or an original. Note: A Cannon Character is a character that is from the book or others designated as Cannon.
If you decide to play a Cannon character, check the cannon list to see which characters are available.
The Cannon list is found by following this steps:
From the main page under "a Supermassive Black Hole".
1. Click on "Ooh Baby Don't You Know I Suffer, Ooh Baby Can You Hear Me Moan?"
2. Click on "Cannon list".
3. Look through and find a character that you want to play.
After you have decided which character you want to play the next step is to apply for the character. The application board is password protected, however if you have read the rules, then you know the password.
There are two things you need to do for the application process, first get the code and then post the application. The following steps are to follow for this process.
On the main screen, under "a Supermassive Black Hole"
1. Click on "You Caught Me Under False Pretenses, How Long Before You Let Me Go?"
2. Click on "Application Template"
3. Copy code for application
4. Go back to "You Caught Me Under False Pretenses, How Long Before You Let Me Go?", by clicking link at top of board.
5. Click on New Thread at bottom right of board.
6. In subject line put "Your Character Name" Application
7. Paste code in the message area
8. Fill in needed information.
9. Post application.
10. Wait for approval
If your character is approved it will be moved from the application board to the approved board. Which is found by following these steps.
On the home page, under "a Supermassive Black Hole.
1. Click on "Ooh Ooh Oh You Set My Soul Alight".
2. Look for your application
Once your character has been approved, if you are an original then you need to claim your face, in the face claim area.
To claim your face follow these steps:
On the home page under "Chasing the Starlight".
1. Click on "If You Promised Not to Fade Away, Never Fade Away"
2. Click on "Face Claim"
3. Copy the code at the top of the thread
4. Paste it into the quick reply box
5. Enter your information.
Ex.[*color=FFCC00]Nikki Reed[*/color]||[*color=000000]Rosalie Hale[/color*]
6. Click on post
