Getting away from the house was the best thing for Renesmee and she knew it just as well as Jacob did. The drive to Port Angeles was fairly quiet as she kept her thoughts focused on not exploding into another episode of tears. She knew that each time she cried, it made Jacob feel so helpless, like he could do nothing. Keeping her thoughts elsewhere helped, or at least seemed to for the time being, so the time passed rather quickly until they were in the Port Angeles city limits.
"Baby, I'm sorry I brought you into the middle of this," she apologized, taking his hand into her own. "There wasn't anyone else I was willing to call to come get me right then."
Jacob was her salvation during the entire mess that was Crystal's doing. Literally the entire family was in an uproar over the issue involving Crystal. Normally, Renesmee was not a violent person, period. However, as of late, she was reconsidering that principle for certain people. But, she knew that Jacob or her parents would step in before she did anything at all. Having Jacob for a fiance just meant that he was that much more protective of her. She knew for a fact that he was just about ready to rip Crystal apart. Yet, the rational side of Renesmee's mind told her that they needed to deal with the situation as peacefully as possible.
"Let's forget about it for a little while, okay?" she asked. "We'll spend some time with just you and me."

Jacob was worrying about Renesmee the whole ride to Port Angeles, he would occasionally glace her way he knew she was probably till thinking of what happened between her and Jasper. "Renesmee, there is no need to apologize, I was put on this earth Ness for you. It does not matter what you need me for I will not leave you when you need help, your the love of my life . You can call me even if you break a nail if that is possible ." Jacob took hold of her hand ans kissed it bfore smiling at her.
"Yes Ness left forget about it all. Port Angeles Will be like another world to us. I am you price sweeping you off your feet for a night any princess needs. Time away from her palace." Jacob never thought of it that way before but it actually made sense. He was the Chief of the Quileute tribe royalty in a way. Then there was Renesmee to her entire family is a princess.

Renesmee stopped after they got out of the car and interlaced the fingers of both her hands with Jacob's and looked into his eyes. He was her prince, through and through. Nobody else in the world could make her feel the way he did. After years of watching Disney movies growing up, she knew that she had something much better than any prince. Jacob was her everything. No prince, however great and wonderful they were, could ever compare with him.
"Thank you," she sighed happily. "I know that spending time with you is all that I will ever need to feel better."
With that, they began walking around Port Angeles until they found the jewelry store. When they walked in, Renesmee went to looking around to find a set for her and Jacob to get for their wedding. The saleslady looked at them and Renesmee automatically knew what she was thinking; that they were too young to be doing this. Then again, she did look no older than eighteen. It made her laugh to see how people assumed so many things, but she didn't care. All that mattered was that she was marrying Jacob and that was that.
"Which set do you think we should get?" she asked.
In the back of her mind, Renesmee already knew which band she was getting for Jacob. It was going to be custom made with an engraving on the inside, but she was curious as to his opinion.

Jacob looked around the Jewelery store, he did not know were to start he never had to pick out Renesmee engagement ring or the necklace she got from Edward he had help in both of those situations. "Aaa ummmmmm Ness. I did not know were to start that's why I suggested you to come long with me you have better taste then i do that must come from your dad he picked put great gift for your mom. " it was true Edward did have good taste and Jacob rather let Renesmee pick out their rings. "Ness I leave the choice up to you, I wear anything you pick out it. You picking out will make it more special to me." he kissed her and started looking around the room again.

Renesmee giggled. Jacob was the stereotypical kind of guy that did not know how to shop really, but she loved it. Somehow, it made him more endearing and precious to her. Quietly she walked along the glass until something caught her eye. "Babe, what do you think of these?" she asked pointing to a pair of rings. She knew that the simplicity of the band for Jacob would be key, since he was a wolf and phased quite often. The one she pointed to was plain silver, which could easily be engraved on, although he would not see the engraving until the day of the wedding. Her ring was beautiful, set with diamonds all around; a little more extravagant than she would have liked, but it still was very beautiful. "Those are pretty nice Ness but i think I like this and this one too." Jacob said pointing out a pair of ring one he like for Renesmee had a blue sapphire in the middle and the one for him was a silver one with a design on the band. "I will wear anything though I probably have to wear it an a long chain on my neck to put it on when I phase." Jacob eyes met Renesmee's as he wonder what she though of the rings he liked. |

"Those are beautiful baby," she said, looking at the rings that Jacob pointed out to her. "How are we ever going to decide which ones we like the best?"
Renesmee had not realized it when she and Jacob first got engaged, but planning was a lot harder than she had anticipated. There was so much to think about as far as the guests, her dress, the bridesmaids' dresses, all the tuxedos, the ceremony, and the reception. Their wedding would be the most celebrated event attended by members of a vampire family and Jacob's pack. She knew he would invite all of La Push, practically; which she didn't mind at all. The more time she spent there, the more she got to know the members of the pack. Now they were like family to her too.
"We still have some time though, so we don't have to pick today," she said, taking Jacob's hand gently and laughed. "And we're going to have tons of other things to pick out too; you know how thorough my family is."

Jacob was happy Renesmee was feeling happier now, It seemed like ring shopping had gotten her mind off of what happened earlier. " I dunno how we are ever going to chose which rings are perfect for us but I let the final choice be yours." Jacob smiled at he and kissed her hand softly.
" Well Ness it is god we don't have tio pic the rings out now because I getting hungry. "Jacob laughed he was getting hungry and shopping was not really his favorite thing ot do but while he was with Renesmee he couldn't care less what they did together as long has she was there with him he was happy.
"I bet the first thing you dad does is thake me tuxedo shopping. that will be interesting." Jacob could just seethe seamstress n aw of his measurement. As he visuallied the whole scenario he broke out into laughter.

Renesmee laughed so hard at the thought of Jacob tuxedo shopping with her father. That was going to be an interesting trip for both of them, considering Jacob was huge to begin with. Hearing him talk about food, she suddenly remembered that she was hungry too. So, she grabbed his hand and began walking toward the door of the ring shop.
"Baby, I would pay to see that trip," she joked as they walked out of the ring store onto the street of Port Angeles. "I'm sure Daddy will take you when I'm on my trip to New York with Mom next week. We're leaving Friday night and won't be back until next Saturday night. I hope you won't be too miserable without me."
They made their way down the street to a small restaurant to eat. Ironically, it was the very same Italian restaurant that her parents ate at so many years ago. It had been slightly renovated, but still looked very much the same as her mother had described it in all the stories she told Renesmee as a child. As they went inside, they were seated right away and the waitress took their orders.
"You know, my dad brought my mom here a long time ago; before they officially started dating," she mused.

"Your going away with out me, Gah how will survive?" Jacob joked but it will really be difficult for him to spend even a weeks away from Renesmee. "I wish I could come long on that trip, it would get me away from the pack but you and your mom need some alone time too." Jacob saw a little Italian restaurant and walked up to it with Renesmee. That is when she said Bella and Edward went there before.
"Well of course he would have brought he to a little Italian with Isabella being her name he probably though she perefered Italian food." Jacob muse back and smiled

"I know it will be hard to be away from each other for a week, but just know that I will miss you every second I'm away," she reassured him.
It was true, she would miss him every second she was in New York, but she knew that both she and her mother needed this trip more than anything. Her level of stress had gone through the roof recently with all that her family was going through, so a trip away with her mother was exactly what she needed.
After their food arrived, she began to eat. She had ordered the mushroom ravioli, which was one of her mother's favorite dishes when she had been human. That was another thing she had in common with her mother; her love of Italian food.
"But, when all is said and done, we will be married and have our own house," she smiled.

Jacob took a bite of his own food it was a plate full of lasagna. and looked over at his love. "I can't wait till I can start introducing you to people as Mrs. Renesmee Black and the first time I can call you my wife. thought calling you my fiancee has be great." Jacob placed his hand on the table and held it palm up to she place her and in his, he wanted to hold her hand he felt the happiest when he was touching her.
"After we are married we will com back here sometime and talk about of firt time hee how does that sound?" Jacob asked he was not sure the next time he Renesmee to Port Angeles but he hoped regularly.

Renesmee took Jacob's hand and interlaced her fingers with his. This was perfect for them. No one could bring her down while she was with him; he just had a warmth around him that brought joy to her life. With every day that passed since her return to him from London, she found herself falling more and more in love with him. She wanted everything for them in the world that people in love deserved; each other, a family, and a home to build together. As far as she was concerned, they deserved everything for waiting so long. Her heart beat only for him.
"I think that coming back here after we're married is a perfect idea. It will be our private celebration," she smiled.
As soon as she finished her mushroom ravioli and Jacob finished his dinner, they went back out on the streets of Port Angeles. Walking hand in hand in the night air was so romantic to Renesmee. It was the simple things she enjoyed most with Jacob and meant the most.
"Baby, do you realize that our wedding is in two and a half months?" she asked giddily.

Jacob smiled over at Renesmee, as they walk slowly down the street hand and and he pulled her hand to his lips and kissed it softly. He then looked deep into her chocolate brown eyes as she asked her question. "I now Ness and everyday I hope the days will go by faster, but at the same time I hope they go by slower so we can enjoy our engagement."
Jacob let go of her hand took of his jacket and placed it around his shoulders. he the bent down a bit do hid lips could meet hers. It was like the whole word around him went dark and everything vanished, the only thing giving of light was Renesmee. the her realized she woulf be there the rest of his life to gouid his way out of the drakest times in his life she would e the only one who could ever make him feel special. "Did I thell you today how beautiful you are? "

Renesmee felt his lips against hers and she knew that nothing else mattered in that moment. Everything in the night swirled around them in a blur of lights and colors as he kissed her. He had this way of making her feel like she was the only girl in the world. When their kiss broke, she listened to his soothing voice as he spoke.
"Not today," she murmured in his ear before reaching on her tiptoes to kiss his lips again. "You know that I'm going to miss you so much while I'm away in New York with my mom. When I get home, we will have lots of time to make up for."
She was using her sexy voice, which she knew drove Jacob insane. It was one of the many things she knew he could not resist.
