She closed the door once Jacob was inside. Even though she couldn't hear Noah's thoughts she can tell that he didn't want to be the only wolf in the room. Sorry, I didn't tell you everything earlier at the beach. I didn't want to harm you or anything. Delilah thought to Noah. She couldn't just stand up and blurt everything about her being a shape shifter and all. Absently she listened to Jacob as she looked at Noah.
When Jacob told her to turn around so he could strip his clothes down and phase; she chuckled. "It's not like I haven't seen you or any other boys naked before." Delilah talked to Jacob as she faced the door. Once he was phased, she walked to Noah's bed and sat on it. She didn't want to bother them as they talked mentally. Sitting there, looking at both, Jacob and Noah, she thought that she should go into Noah's closet and get something for him.
"If you two will excuse me, I need find some clothes for Noah." She smiled at them as she got up from bed and went into the closet. I hope I don't get in trouble for doing this. After all, I'm helping him. Delilah looked at the clothes hoping to find nice comfy clothes for Noah.

Noah watched as Jacob phased into a giant russet wolf right in front of him. Suddenly, he could communicate again; which was a thousand times better than being a total mute.
Ok man, please explain to me what the hell just happened to me, he thought.
While he was talking with Jacob, he watched Delilah get up and go get him some clothing. That was going to come in handy when he was not a wolf again and could wear clothes. Although he trusted Delilah, he was not ready to be naked in front of her just yet. That was too quick into a relationship for him.

Well, Umm I guess or Quileute or at least part. We carry this Gene in our blood, and it said that out tribe descended from wolves. My great grandfather was the last chief which makes me alpha, and I been Alpha for like 30 year in out pack. thought I look 25 I am really forty eight, if that's believable. He though not knowing really were to start he was use to the other asking question when he explained.

Noah listened as Jacob explained about being Quileute and that pertaining to wolves. It was a lot to take in all at once. He was still in shock that he was actually standing on all fours, had fur, and a muzzle full of teeth. This was totally surreal to him.
What does it mean that I'm a wolf now? Do I have some sort of obligation to fulfill or something? The questions were running through his mind at ninety miles an hour. He hoped Jacob could at least help him through this.

Jacob was thinking he was confusing Noah more then helping but he explained some more. Well like I said before, We are not werewolves technically we are Shape shifter. Our shifting from makes us Wolves. Now that that is said Noah, You do have a duty to uphold. We have to protect The overs, Which I mean human from being bit. The first treaty is different from the one I uphold now. You see any vampire that bites a human here in our Area we Kill...But wait that is not true, Carlisle Cullen is a good man, My Loves grandfather I could say, He is the only Vampire in the area I will allow to to turmn a human into a vampire ., the only one I will let bite a human because he does not bite to kill he bites to save Jacob mind was going crazy trying explain things to he was forgetting Delilah was still around.

Noah nodded his head in understanding. He had found that even as a little kid, he had protected things; whether it had been his toys or even his mom. He had always been a protector. Now all of that made perfect sense. This is what he had been destined to be all along; a member of the pack that protected the Quileutes.
So, now that I'm one of you, does that mean I'm here for life? He was curious.
Delilah had mentioned that she was forever eighteen and Jacob was stuck at appearing twenty-five, so he wanted to know if he would be the same. He wouldn't mind if he was, but he just wanted to know.

technically if you phase often you wont age, the years go by but your forever the age you first phases at but physically you may look a little older. Jacob explained then he uses himself as and example. I been phasing since I was sixteen but your get bigger and continue to till we look like we is are twenties or so Us guys look older thna the girls because we are muscular, technically I am still eighteen but look twenty five but I am really 48 dies that make since. I chose t keep phasing so I wont age Ness my Imprintee is a half vampire sbe stoped aging at eighteen. Jacob was really explaining a lot to this kid.
If Ness could age past eighteen I would stop phasing and gradually get older. So it is really your choice, and depends who you imprint on. As for being stuck here you not really you can come and go as you please as a member of my pack I can here your thoughts in your wolf form anywhere, but you have ot stay here for a while until you get use to all this stuff. Jacob's ear became itchy so he rubbed it with his paw, knowing doing so he probably looked rediculous doing so.

Noah listened as Jacob explained how the aging thing worked. He found that he was okay with being in his twenties forever. Aging had never appealed to him anyway. As he listened, there was a word that he had never heard before.
Imprinting. What is that? he thought.
The rest of the things Jacob was telling him, he was alright with. Jacob seemed like a pretty cool guy, so he wouldn't have any problems getting along with him as the Alpha.

Jacob felt like he was overwhelming Noah with information now. Imprinting is when you find your soul mate you find the person who you live for and no one or nothing else means as much to you as your imprintee. Ness is the center of my wold and everyday i love her more. I made a dumb decision thirty years ago staying with the pack , I should have left. Noah i want you to promise if you imprint and she has to leave for any amount of time you go with her. Jacob did not want anyone to go thought the pain he did with Renesmee, the pack is not as important as love.

Noah listened as Jacob explained how imprinting worked and how he should have gone with his own love, Renesmee, thirty years ago when she left. He wondered if love like that could exist for him. Certainly Delilah was fascinating to him, but he had only ever spent time with her earlier that day after meeting her for the first time while he was still human.
I promise Jake. If I ever imprint anyways, he thought. How long does it take for me to get this whole phasing thing under control?

Jacob was glad Noah promised him right there. He never want anyone ot choose the pack over there one true love. Thank you Noah. He thought first before answerin more of Noah next question. depends on the person, Kid. Sometimes it may take a few days, sometimes it may take a week. Really it is the way you can handle it all that everyone is different. Jacob explained then tried to think about the time he first phase. It took me at least five days to adjust to it all of it Jacob plase was really rough, he was surprised Noah was so excepting of it all.

That doesn't sound too bad, I guess. A couple days confusion for the gift of immortality. As long as I don't hurt anyone, I'm okay with this stuff.
If being a wolf brought him closer to his Quileute roots, then he was willing to accept whatever sacrifice it would mean for him. He wanted to know where his dad had come from and what the tribe had meant to him before he met and married his mother. When he was a kid he had heard his dad talk about growing up Quileute and all the games he and his friends had played on First Beach and in the forest. In some ways, Noah had wished he could have grown up here in La Push, but he understood why his parents left. Their love meant everything to them.
So, when do I meet the rest of the pack? he asked in thought.

Meeting the rest of the pack you can do that almost any day, but my suggestion ot you is wait till you get your phasing under control, that why you don't phase in from of any of then and loose your clothes.
Jacob knew how embarrassing it might be phasing in front of a group of guy or even women that you don't even know, it was just made meeting the someone knew a little awkward.
