Sadie took a walk in the forest. It was the natural thing for her to do in times of agony. This time it was over journalism. She couldn't get the right story anymore. It was driving her absolutely nuts, and now she just needed to relax, and breathe. So, walking always did the trick. It always seemed to help calm her nerves.

Raine sat in a tree, waiting for the time to pass so she could start her first day at forks high school, when she heard somone walked by under her. She looked at the girl, followed her with her eyes.

Sadie had her bag by her side, so she took her camera out and turned it on. It was one of those nice, professional photographer cameras that cost a fortune. Luckily she could afford it--she'd saved up 4 years worth of Christmas and Birthday money to get it. She snapped shots every which way. She snapped something up in a tree and when she took a closer look, she saw it was a person.

Sadie was startled a bit but laughed at the girls joke. "If you want to. I can't object to volunteers." She snapped one more photo and put her camera back in her bag. "Mind if I join you up there? Or would you perfer to come down here?"

Sadie got a stable hold on the tree and started to climb it. When she got to the top she sat on a branch and said, "I'm Sadie. Who are you?" She stuck out her hand, offering to shake it. She had a strong hold on her bag strap with her other hand.

Sadie brought her hand back into her lap and said, "Well, I go to Forks, so you won't be lonely there. What class are you in? Junior....senior...?" she mused off, asking. She looked like she could be a senior, too young to be a sophomore.

"Im a senior" I told her, and smiled. I was glad she said i wouldnt be lonely, it would be good to finally have someone to talk to in school.

Sadie nodded. "Good. So am I. This will be fun. You will have a friend at Forks High on your first day!" She smiled and clapped rapidly. "Anyways, where are you from?"

i looked at her and smiled. "Im from everywhere, but i was born in London, and placed at a childens house, my mom died giving birth to me and my dad killed himselve resently after that. Im not sorry, ive had a good life so far" I told her and looked at her smiling. I lifted and eyebrow that was to tell her that i didnt want her to feel sorry for me.

Sadie frowned. "That sucks. I'm sorry. So you're basically a foster brat?" Hmmm......this would make an interesting student spotlight story.... Sadie's joournalistic instincts were coming in, full throttle. This was going to be genius.

I looked at her, she had a look in her eyes telling Raine that this girl would be very intrested in Raine. "Yeah i guess so" i said. I looked at her, trying to figure out what was in her mind. "i wish i was my power was to read minds, hers would be interesting" I thought to myself. I made a human move, so she wouldnt think i sat too still, so i just moved a little to make it look like i wanted to sit better.

Sadie frowned. "Well I'm sorry. I couldn't imaging living a life like that." Sadie looked out into the horizon, trying to imagine Raine's life as her own. It just wasn't possible. For her anyways. Her life was far from perfect, but it was better than that.
