Edward was thinking about different things while Jake and Bella were talking. When Jake asked Edward a question it brought him back to the present. Edward smiled at Jake and said, "No, I am not offended in the slightest. I have no problem with her not being there. I do think that you might want to reconsider the meadow wedding though. Alice is going to want to plan and decorate the wedding, and well the meadow doesn't give her alot to work with. We could to it at Charlie's house, if that would be okay with the two of you." Edward wasn't sure if that would be okay with them, but he knew his sister.
