Alice had been upset for a few days about the return of Crystal and seemed to be the only one in her family that felt how she did about it. There was a lot about it that bothered her about it. First was the fact that Crystal was blocking Alices visions. Alice didn't understand this at all, she thought that maybe Crystal was trying to hid something from her. Second was that fact that Crystal had yet to tell any of them who the person that Will hurt was. Third was that Crystal was back at all. And last but not least was the effect that Crystal was having on Jasper.
Alice paced back and forth in the living room with her hands in knots, waiting for her family to get home, she needed to talk to them. She didn't know what to do about the whole thing, she felt lost. And for the first time in Alice Cullens life she felt like she didn't belong.

Bella had been busy with a hundred things; planning Renesmee's wedding, keeping everything in check while her cousins were living with them, and trying to keep everyone in the family happy. It had been days since she had any kind of time to talk to anyone in the family much. She felt horrible for that fact, especially towards Alice. And she knew that something was off with Alice.
One afternoon, while just waiting for Renesmee to come home from Jacob's, she decided to head up to the mansion to see if anyone was home. She walked in to find Alice pacing the room anxiously, which was off for her.
"Alice, is everything okay?" she asked, concerned for her sister.

Rose had been in the woods thinking about everything that was going on. In that last few weeks it seemed like everything in her life had changed. She was still troubled over the changes in herself, but more over her family. Rosalie was not a kind person, but she loved her family deeply and there were things that were concerning her now. She was extremely upset about Crystal's return and the problems that she was causing. Rosalie wanted so badly to kill Crystal, but she knew that the family would never allow that. Not that any of them cared for Crystal any more that she did, well maybe Jasper.
Rosalie had finally decided to go home and talk to her family. Rosalie was never one to be emotional, but she was now. As she came through the back door she saw her sister's in the living room and saw the look on Alice's face. Rosalie's heart dropped, her sister was hurting. Rose went to Alice's side and in a rare tender moment, put she arms around Alice little shoulders. "What is wrong Alice? Has you seen something? What happened?" Rose knew that things were worse than she had thought. Alice was never depressed and she was clearly depressed now.

Edward at the cottage making the arrangement for Nessie and Jake's honeymoon, when he caught Alice's thought. Edward stopped what he was doing and went to the mansion immediately. Edward knew that Alice was upset over Crystal again and that this time it was worse. Edward was trying to forget about Crystal since she hadn't been around in a few days, but obviously there was more to this than he had thought. As he entered that mansion, he saw Alice, Bella and Rose already there. He was a little surprised that Rose had her arms around Alice. Edward was still trying to understand this new Rose. Edward went straight to Bella's side and took her hand. He knew that they were finally going to have to decide on what to do about Crystal, before she tore their family apart. Edward was not going to let that happen.

Alice looked up at her brother and sisters now in the room with her. "I need to leave." She said looking each of them in the eye. "Crystal is blocking my visions and as gotten Jasper to be on her side.: She said and then went to sit down on the couch. Alice kept playing with her small hands and looking at the floor. "I can't take it anymore, and it looks like she is staying. So if she stays I need to go. We both can't live here." Alice knew that she was just saying words but hoped that one of them would understand what was going on with her.

"Alice," Bella said, going over and sitting next to her on the couch, "you can't just leave. I know that this whole Crystal situation has got everyone in this family stressed, but there has got to be a better solution."
Bella tried to think of something that would be good for the entire family and would not cause fights among everyone. In her entire existence as a vampire and the few years she knew Jasper and Alice in her human life, she had never seen the two of them at odds, so she knew that this was serious. She also knew that Jasper had made Renesmee cry a few days prior when she had tried to mend the rift between him and Alice. It was so out of character for Jasper to be like this.
Even though Bella did not know Crystal that well, she did not trust or like her that much at all. Since her arrival, it had been nothing but chaos for the family; her family.
"What about just sending Crystal to Denali?" Bella suggested, taking one of Alice's hands. "Just until we can figure out what to do with the whole situation otherwise. I know that it would probably help some matters if she weren't so close to the family."
Edward, please back me up on this one, she thought, quickly lowering her shield. It's better for the family and you know it.

Edward agreed with Bella on everything. He was not going to lose his favorite sister over the one that he could not stand to be in the room with. Edward crossed the room and knelt in front of Alice's little body. He looked into her eyes. Alice was he closest sister. She was in every possible way his true sister. "Alice, we will send Crystal to Denali and you will stay were you belong. You are not leaving us again. We are your family, not hers. I hate to say it but if Jasper is going to turn his back on this family and side with her, then maybe he should go with her for a while." Edward was not going to lose Alice without a fight. She was his closest sister, and Bella's best friend.

Alice looked at Edward and then to Bella. "I'm sorry." She said looking Edward in the eyes. "But I'm the one who has to leave. I've thought about it and I need to." Alice then stood up and went to the window. She looked out on the forest that she knew so well. "I need to do this." She said mostly to herself. "I'll be back, I don't know when but I will be." She said as she turned around to her family again. "Tell Nessie I'm sorry to miss the wedding." Alice said to Bella with a sad look on her face.

Rose had watched as Alice had moved away from her and told them what she was thinking. Rose was instantly the old Rosalie again. Her first thought was to shred Crystal or better yet to tell Jacob's pack that she was fair game. Like hell, Rosalie was going to let Crystal run Alice out of their home. Until Bella, Alice was the only sister that Rosalie had. Rosalie had never considered Crystal as a sister and you never would. Rosalie crossed the room to Alice and stood there beside her. "Alice, to hell with the running away. This is our home and our family. We have alway stood united in the battle's to protect it and we will stand united now. If you are leaving them so are we. I will not be away from my sister, because of her. I don't want to leave our home, so I vote that we make her leave. However, if we must that we all go." Rosalie looked at Edward and Bella knowing that they would back her up. Rosalie knew that even though there had been a time that she didn't like the idea of Bella, she still stood beside her family to protect Bella and their family. She would do it again and knew that without a doubt, if Crystal challenge anyway in their family, she would not survive.

Alice looked at Rose with a stern look. "NO!" She yelled at everyone in the room. "This is something I need and want to do." Alice looked at Rosalie again. "I know you all are trying to protect me and what not but this is something I need to do. For myself." Alice had never blown up at her family like this and started to feel bad about doing it. She walked back to the window. "I'm sorry, just please try to understand." Alice said feeling more lost than ever. She started to try to think about where she would go.

"Alice," Bella called softly, hoping to appeal to her sister's heart. "Please, don't leave. Think of Nessie. It'll break her heart if you aren't there for her wedding. And besides, you're ten times the wedding planner I am, so you know I need help."
Bella knew that if Alice left, there would be a huge gaping hole in the family. It happened once before when Alice and Jasper left unexpectedly before the Volturi arrived after Renesmee's birth. That had been a dark time in the Cullen family and Bella did not want a repeat of that episode. She would do anything to keep from repeating that.
"Please Alice," she begged.

Alice looked at her sister and for the first time in awhile felt her heart have pain. "I'm sorry Bells." She said to Bella with a said tone in her voice. "I have to." This was once of the hardest things Alice had ever had to do. She slowly walked up to Bella. "You may not understand now but you will later." She said then taking Bellas hands. "And there will be other weddings to plan, it's one of the good things about being immortal." Alice tried to smile and let out a small giggle, trying to cheer Bella up.

"But you can never repeat the first one," Bella reminded Alice. "Renesmee's first wedding will always be the most special and you will kick yourself later if you miss it."
Bella really could not understand why Alice was going to run away from their family when clearly she was wanted above Crystal. More than anything, Bella wanted to find Crystal and slap her. Because of her, her daughter's wedding was going to be ruined by the absence of one very important family member. If she could cry right then, she would have wept every tear from her eyes. This was not fair.
"If you're leaving Alice, I want you to tell Nessie," she said. "She would take it better coming from you instead of hearing it secondhand."
Edward, I swear I'm going to kill Crystal now. She's ruining our daughter's wedding before it even happens! How could it come to this? she lowered her shield and let it go, hoping it wouldn't startle her husband too much.

Renesmee had been busying herself with a lot of things lately to keep her mind off of how much she was missing Jacob. All night patrols with the pack were really getting to her as far as time Jacob had left over to spend with her. So, she had immersed herself with homework and planning her wedding, which was proving to be a lot harder than she had anticipated in the beginning. But, she was bound and determined to be married on December 24th, so everything was going to be ready.
After finishing the outline of the invitations, she decided to wander up to the mansion to see if anyone in her family was home so she could have someone to hang out with for a while. As soon as she walked into the door, however, she felt the tension coming out of the living room. Her parents, along with her aunts were in the room and it looked like an unpleasant conversation. A lot of those were going on lately around the house and she tended to avoid them.
Cautiously, she tried to slip past the room, hoping that nobody would notice her, to find Emmett upstairs. He was hardly ever a downer, so she knew he would be entertaining for an afternoon.

Alice looked down when Bella told her to tell Nessie herself. "I will." She said in a soft voice, still looking down. Just then Nessie walked through the back door, Alice could tell that she was trying not to get noticed but failed. "Nessie, will you please come in here. I have something I need to tell you." Alice said to Nessie. Alice knew this would be one of the hardest things she every have to do, almost harder than leaving her family for awhile. Alice loved Nessie very much and wanted to plan her wedding and be there for her, everything was just coming at a bad time for Alice right now, she knew she would be letting everyone down.
