Rose could only smile as Nessie asked them about how they each meet their mates. They each had a different story to tell and Rose listened as Alice told Nessie her story, which of course Rose already knew. When Alice was finished Rose looked and Nessie and told her how it was for her and Emmett. "It was different for me and Emmett. As you know Carlisle turned me so I have always been a member of the Cullen family. While I was out hunting one day and I came across this huge human man, that was wrestling with a grizzly bear. The bear had just about killed him when I came along. I took one look at him and knew that he was the one that I wanted. I didn't have the control to do it myself so I brought him to Carlisle and asked him to change Emmett for me. From the time that Emmett opened his eyes to this new world, we have been together." Rose finished and just smiled at Nessie.

Bella waited her turn to tell her story to her daughter. It was the story of how she fell in love with Edward. They had never told their daughter how she came to be as they were waiting for the perfect moment and now was that time. When Rose and Alice were finished telling their stories, Bella saw her daughter turn towards her. Bella smiled.
"The first time I saw your father, it was like some dream I couldn't wake up from. I had moved from Phoenix to Forks to live with Charlie for a while, so I came to Forks High School. That's when I saw the Cullen family for the first time. They were all pale and undeniably beautiful. And then your father avoided me in our biology class like the plague. After that first day, he left school for a week. When he returned, I was almost crushed by a boy named Tyler's van after he slid on some ice, but Edward stopped the van from killing me. After, I swore that he was not human. That was when I heard the Quiluete legends from Jacob about the cold ones, vampires. Once I figured out the truth, I didn't care. I was already in love with Edward," Bella paused to gage her daughter's reaction, finding her completely engrossed in her story, so she continued.
"Throughout your father and I's relationship, we endured many complicating circumstances; at least while I was still human. He saved me from a nomadic vampire named James, left me once thinking it was better if we were not together, then came back, kept me safe from James's mate Victoria, who was hell-bent on killing me in revenge of James's death, and finally, we were able to marry. And then you were born. Suddenly life had a different meaning; you were our world inside and out."
Bella looked at her beautiful daughter and smiled. Renesmee reminded her so much of Edward with her bronze curls and beauty, but her eyes reminded her of herself as a human. Her daughter was a marvel to behold, such a unique child that was now an adult. Bella wondered how such a magnificent creation could come from her clumsy, awkward human self.

Renesmee sat listening to each of her aunts tell their love story, amazed at how each found the love of their lives. But the one that amazed her the most was her mother's. Never before had she heard the entire story of how her parents fell in love. There were things that they had always left out because she was never mature enough to know, until now.
"Wow, Mom...I never knew that you and Daddy went through so much to be together," she gushed and hugged her mother. "And then having me. I know that's why you were changed."
Renesmee had memories of her birth, which was unique to anyone. Her mother literally sacrificed herself to bring her into the world. No mother could have ever done more than what her mother had done. Renesmee felt herself growing closer to her mom and aunts. She turned to all three of them, smiling a little more.
"How will I know when he is going to propose?" she asked. "Or is it better that I don't know?"

Rose had always loved Nessie, and wanted her to be happy. She heard Nessie ask about knowing when the proposal was coming. "I think it is better not to know, Nessie. The surprise is part of makes it so special. I think it is even better cause Alice can't see to warn anyone when it is going to happen." Rose thought about all the times that Emmett had asked her to marry him. "I know that each time Emm asks me to marry him, he makes it special and surprises me with it."

Renesmee heard what Rose said about it being better not to know and she agreed. She wanted Jacob to make that moment special for the two of them. It was a moment she wanted to remember and hold special for the rest of their immortal lives. Thoughts ran through her head about where they would get married and who would be in her wedding, but she pushed them away for a little while. There was another pressing thought in her head that she needed maternal guidance on. A topic that was slightly embarrassing to Renesmee.
Blushing, she decided to swallow her pride and ask, "Does it hurt the first time you um... are together?"
It may have been a stupid question, but she wanted to ask it. She had been dying to know for years and had heard all sorts of things and read them as well. But, she wanted to know first hand from those she trusted.

Rose did not know how to answer that question. She didn't remember that part of being human and as a vampire nothing hurt. "Nessie, I don't know the answer to that. I don't remember that part of my human relationships." She said to her, Rose hoped that Bella could answer that cause Rose knew that Alice had no memory of being human.

Bella was thrown off by her daughter's latest question. Thinking about it, she could remember her wedding night with Edward on Isle Esme, though it was slightly fuzzy. From what she remembered, there wasn't as much pain as she had anticipated but Edward was overly cautious with her because she was still human and he was not.
"Nessie, from what little memories I have that are clear, there was some pain involved. But, if Jacob is slow and careful, I think it won't be as bad," she tried to explain to her daughter as gently as possible.
Renesmee was still so innocent in so many ways, including intimacy. Jacob was her first and only relationship, which was still odd to Bella being that Jacob was technically her age and dating her daughter. However, she had come to terms with that years ago when he first imprinted on Renesmee at her birth. Now, it was just a matter of getting used to the idea that Jacob would be her son-in-law and not just her best friend.

Alice listened to her sisters stories of falling in love with their other halfs. But she was surprised by Nessies last question. Alice didn't have any pain her first time because she was a vampire, had vampires felt no pain. "Maybe it will hurt, but you have to also remember that you're half vampire so you can't feel much pain." Alice said thinking out loud. She then looked at Nessie. "But if it does hurt, it won't be for long. Sometimes love hurts, I guess." She smiled at the last part not really knowing what she was saying.

As she quietly listened to her aunts and mother talk about their first times, Renesmee was put at ease somewhat. Being half-vampire, her risk of pain was minimized compared to her human-half. That put a huge part of her fears to rest about getting married, not that she would ever reconsider any other option than marrying Jacob. He was her life and whatever sacrifices needed to be made to be with him forever, Renesmee was willing to make. She loved him unconditionally and eternally.
Her qualms solved for the moment, she began to just enjoy her aunts and mother's company. It was rare that all four of them were in the same room together alone for time together. Granted, Renesmee had been spending a large chunk of her time with Jacob; this time was special to spend with three of her favorite people in the world.
"So, I take it that I will be doing very little of my own wedding planning?" she asked, giggling.
Knowing her aunts, that was a definite possibility. In fact, she knew that it was going to be true because her Aunt Alice planned her mother's wedding completely.

Rose laughed at Nessie, she knew that Alice was already planning it. "Nessie, I doubt that any of us do much in the planning other than Alice. You know she is the planning queen." Rose had never had to worry about any thing in the parties department. Alice loved to plan and throw parties.
