Faith's experience with high schools had pretty much done her in for some pretty interesting things. But never in the hundred years she's been a hybrid and attending high school had she ever found a couple get enaged while still in school. Especially a human vampire hybrid and a werewolf.
Walking into the cafeteria, she requested her special lunch (which the cooks had no choice but to cook to her order). Being half and half sucked, especially when she had to sneak in her own drink of human blood. Her meal was steak (being part wolf indictes some sort of meat) and a salad. She needed her nutitions.
Sitting down, she smoothed out her dress and crossed her legs like a sophisticated woman. Her heels were killing her and her necklace and earrings were making her itch a bit. They poked at her, that was why.
Faith sat down at the back corner table. This was her table. Not many other people sat there or in the general area. The other end of the cafeteria was occupied by the Cullens. Faith had no use for that group of vampires except for Edward. Edward was at the top of her want list. That Isabella girl already had him though and Faith didn't like that. She needed to get Edward alone so she could use her power on him.
Too bad he'd left because of his wife's precious cousins. |

Renesmee had gone to school that morning after a rather difficult weekend. The nightmare she had had Saturday night still lingered in her mind; of the Volturri coming after her and Jacob's child before it was even born. It haunted and distracted her in class for most of the morning, including her classes with Jacob, which she normally enjoyed because of the note passing between the two of them. People were talking now because word had gotten out about their engagement, but she didn't really care. At least it would deflect the unwanted attention of the males in her classes because now they knew for sure that she was Jacob's fiancee.
After classes were dismissed for lunch, instead of waiting for her family like she normally did, she went directly to the cafeteria. She needed to clear her head a little before being around her family and Jacob. It was one of those things she just needed to do, like a process of dealing with difficult things. There was already so much stress in the family with the Crystal situation. She still had not talked to Jasper since he made her cry almost a week prior. It was killing her to not talk to a member of her family, but he had hurt her feelings.
Walking into the cafeteria, she went and got her lunch and sat down at her family's usual table. Soon enough, they would figure out that she was already here and come looking. Until then, she just sat there and began thinking to herself, not paying attention to much else going on around her.

Faith found her attention sliding to accross the cafeteria somehow. It was an eerie feeling, almost like she was forced to look. When she did, she saw Renesmee Cullen--Edward's little girl. Her eyebrows raised. "Hmmm..." she said to herself.
Faith stood up and walked over to Renesmee. "I'd like to congratulate you on your engagement Renesmee," she said in a bitchy tone. "You of all people should be rewarded for good judgement. Especially in men. It's something we have in common." |

Renesmee had been so lost in her own thoughts about her family, that she didn't notice the girl who had gotten up and now stood in front of her. It was her tone of voice that snapped Renesmee out of her thoughts into reality. The girl in front of her was obviously new and from what Renesmee could smell, she wasn't human either. Both vampiric and wolf smells ran through her veins.
"Thank you," she said politely, despite the girl's previous tone of voice. "I'm sorry, I don't believe I know you."

Faith raised her eyerbrows, shocked. "Really? That's funny, because I known you. I'm Faith Madison, the Queen of Forks High School. It's very shocking that you don't know me." Her tone was full of confidences, not letting her guard down. It wasn't necessary. Just out of habit. |

Normally Renesmee was a good judge of character. She did not like people that were self-proclaimed "authoritative" figures. Her experiences with the Volturi early in life had ingrained that in her. However, she knew that she had to be polite, just because of how she was raised.
"Well, I just got back into town and started school here," she replied. "I don't know too many people outside of my siblings really. Besides Jacob."

Raine walked into the cafeteria after biology class.
She was in her own thoughts when she walked passed the lunch row and to the table were she, Jake and the Cullens sat. She looked up when she reached the table and sat down next to Nessie. She saw the young girl standing at their table, she then looked at Nessie, raising her eyebrow to show Nessie her disbelief of the girl.
"Hey Ness, any problems" Raine said and ignored the girl. She saw the look in Nessies eyes and whispered in her ear, "Whats wrong dear, still having bad dreams?" Raine asked her.
She then looked at the girl, her eyes looking first at her face, then following down her body and then up again, then a little smile reached Raines lips, the girl was obviously someone she didnt wanted to like. She breathed and smelled that the girl was both wolf and some kinda vampire, allmost like nessie.

Renesmee was glad that Raine had shown up. To be honest, she was not really liking the new girl, Faith, and that was a rare thing with Renesmee as she generally liked everyone most of the time. Without the rest of her family there yet, Renesmee stuck out like a sore thumb, so she could understand why Faith had chose to come over and talk to her now. Hopefully, with Raine there, Faith would back down a little. At least, she hoped that she would.
"Raine, this is Faith; Faith this is my best friend Raine," she introduced the two quickly to avoid awkward silence.
"Not any more dreams since earlier," she whispered to Raine. "It was just that one."

Raine nodded to Renesmee´s answer "Tell me about it if you have a dream like that again" Raine answered.
Raine turned her face to Faith, "Hello, i do not like your attitude and you better watch it, now leave us" Raine said in a harsh voice to Faith.
Raine then got up some of her homework, "Ness can you please help me with this, i have to write a novel but im terrible at it, seriously i am" Raine begged with a glimt in her eyes.

Faith smiled at Raine, and went to say hello, but Raine then got defensive with her. Faith was stunned but didn't show it to the fullest degree. "Well, excuse me." She turned around to walk away, but then turned back. "Oh, by the way Renesmee. Tell you father I'm looking for him." She winked and walked away, out of the cafeteria. |

Renesmee watched as Faith walked away, thinking on her last comment about her father. She glared at this new girl and was thinking of a hundred different ways to tell her off right then, but bit her tongue and let Faith walk away. Turning towards Raine, her one salvation in that situation, she let out some of her frustration.
"Who the hell does she think she is?" she asked, irritated. "And how the hell does she knew my father?"
The thought ran through her head of how she could possibly even know her father and Renesmee came up with nothing. Her father had barely known anyone outside the family before he met her mother. Since then, he had only eyes for her mother and no one else. Her mother was the only woman he ever talked to outside of Rosalie, Alice, and Esme. Immediately, Renesmee did not like this Faith girl.
"Raine, I think I need to go home right now," she whispered quickly. "Come back to my house with me so I don't do something stupid, please?"

Raine saw the concern in Nessies eyes.
"I had the same idea when she mentioned Edward, by the way, didnt you smell she was half vampire and half wolf?" Raine asked. Then she took Nessies hand and dragged her out to Raines old rusty car. She drove to the mansion as fast as the old car could manage.

Renesmee texted her family and Jacob while she and Raine were on their way back home, so that they wouldn't worry when she didn't show up for lunch. Never had she been so angry in her entire life at one single person. When they reached the mansion, she insisted that Raine come to her room at the cottage with her. She needed her best friend there so she could vent.
When they reached her room at the cottage, she shut the door and decided that it would be best to cut loose then.
"I don't know who she thinks she is, but if she thinks she's getting near my father, she's got another thing coming," she growled. "And yes Raine, I did smell the wolf and vampire. That's odd though; I've never seen both in one person before. How is that possible?"

"Ness dear, its possible in the same way that your here today. I think that even wolfs and vampires can fall in love, so i guess thats what happend" Raine said.
Raine sat on the couch, thinking about Faith wanting to see Edward.
"Did you see the look in her eyes when she mentioned Edward? It was a look telling me she wanted him, cost what it would. I would just love to tear her apart, im pretty violent these days when Arkan is still learning to control himself, i wouldnt be Faith crossing Arkans path in the woods, the smell of wolf on her is so strong he would go friday the 13th on her. Wich reminds me, we have to introduce Arkan to the wolf pack, so they know each other." Raine said. she looked at Nessie to get her point of view

Renesmee had noticed Faith's eyes at the mention of her father and did not like what she had seen. Faith was the exactly the type of person that got everything she wanted just because she could. Renesmee did not like those kinds of people at all. She tended to avoid them at all costs.
"Yes, I did notice her look at the mention of my father's name. I didn't like it," she said, somewhat irritated. "My family isn't going to like this at all and neither is Jake."
As she and Raine were in her room, she began to pace the floor anxiously. This new girl was going to bring more trouble for her family and she knew it. They were already having enough problems as it was. Renesmee's wedding was less than two and a half months away, which was both exciting and stressful at the same time. She did not need some girl trying to get with her father right now...or at all.
