After realizing she was pregnant, she left her husband and gave birth to a son. After losing her son to a lung infection, Esme attempted to commit suicide by jumping from a cliff (Edward tells Bella she "fell"). Presumed dead, they didn't even take her to the emergency room and placed her in the morgue.
Dr. Carlisle Cullen heard her beating heart and remembered her. He didn't want her to die and decided to change her into a vampire like himself. She was the second person he changed beside Edward. Consequently, Carlisle and Esme fell in love and were married soon after.
Personality: Esme is really kind excepting and motherly. She is a really kind woman who cares a lot for her family and their happiness. She enjoys reading ,music and art. She would do anything to protect her children.

Jacob heard the know on his door It must be Leah and Seth he thought. It was them who he expected seeing he had just called Leah to join hm for their pack meeting. Jacob got off this eighties retro couch slowly so he would not get dizzy from getting up to quickly. Jacob them waked over and open the front door there stood Leah and Seth. Jacob looked at Seth for a moment seeking that he looked very pale and was leaning on her for support. "Hey you two. is Seth ok? Leah it looks like he is going to spew all over my floor." Seth throwing up all over his floor is the last thing Jacob wanted. Billy being in a wheelchair made it hard for him t do much house work so it was put on Jacob to do. SO if Seth got sick of his floor he wads not going to be to happy.
"Come on in and take seat , I'll get Seth over to the couch." Jacob places his ram arm Seth and walked him over to the couch easily. "Does he need anything I some water or a puke bucket?" Jacob walked into the kitchen. The house being open concept it was like they were still in the same room.
