A strand of sweat ran down Ross’s forehead and he awoke in a panic. Glancing over at the glaring red dots of his alarm clock he gave a sigh and rolled back over in his bed. It was a lot later then he expected but he still had a little more time to rest he could mustard in before he received any phone calls from Elizabeth. Just as he was closing his eyes trying to forget his dream, the phone rang. Ross rolled over and reached for his phone quickly. “ Hello?” he said in a dry and weary voice. “ I hope I did not interrupt your nap.” Elizabeth sneered from the other end of the phone. “ I did not really think you would care so much what happened between now and then.” Ross said with a sarcastic tone. “ The moon should be up in a few hours, if you don’t want to destroy anything in your home I suggest you make your way to the Cullen’s mansion.” “ Will it hurt?” Ross asked as a lump formed into his throat. “ It will be like a shot, it will be over before you know it.” Elizabeth lied. “Ok, I will be ready in a few minutes, when I get there I will call you to let you know I’m there.” Ross replied. “ Make sure you are there earlier, you cant really talk to me that well when your in wolf form.” Elizabeth stressed. Ross said his few final words to Elizabeth and then hung up the phone.
Getting ready Ross remembered the dream he was having, and the nervousness and anxiety returned once again. Ross although excited about the events that were going to unfold that night was very anxious about his transformation, and wondered what it would actually be like. Judging from all the movies he had ever watched about werewolves, transformation was not a very pleasant experience. grabbing his coat and his things Ross walked out the door and to his car. Ross planned on parking a few miles from the forest by The Cullen’s mansion. Like Elizabeth had suggested Ross kept a pair of extra clothes in his back seat of his car. When Ross felt he was close enough to the house to walk a few minutes and arrive there Ross parked his car. It was getting darker and any moment the moon would be out.
After Ross got off the phone with Elizabeth he did not have to wait long for the moon to appear in the dark sky above his head. With the Cullen’s mansion in sight, Ross focused all his attention on the house as his heart began to race. His stomach began to churn and he closed his eyes anticipating the kinds of pains he would be experiencing within the next few minutes. Ross’s body filled with aches and pains as the bones in his body began to twist and form his new features, a painful scream escaped his lungs, which soon turned into a growl. Before long he was on all fours bearing his teeth and ready to kill the first vampires that came out to fight him.
