Aviary felt like she had barely seen Dakota all summer long. She had been so busy with working at camps, or just working in general that she feared that her whole social life had basically come to a standstill. She felt guilty for not spending time with Dakota the most. He was the one that set her heart on fire and that passion seemed like a big gap without him. Opening her phone again she gave another text hoping an unexpected get together would not be so far fetched. She knew she was still young and it might have all just been puppy love, but she wanted to see him regardless of how he felt about her now. She felt like she needed to make things up to him and was willing to do all she could to follow through with that.
The news of disappearances and dead hikers died down, so forks seemed a little safer in general besides the fact that school would be starting soon and that would mean cafeteria food. The waitress came over and asked for the drink orders. Aviary smiled politely and ordered two waters. She had already explained to the waitress ealier that she was expecting someone but that was about ten minutes ago not wanting to feel too stupid she made some drink orders hoping it would convince the waitress her guest was on his way.
