Alicia waited by the window as she watched the leaves in the tree blow back and forth. Jacob was sleeping from the long days he had been having patrolling making sure Alicia and Nessie were safe, not to mention the rest of forks. Her mother was out, but Alicia new that Alice was close by, it came more apparent that her visions were not only of the children of the moon now but of the Cullens as well. Alicia pressed her face to the glass and let out a sigh. She was not sure as to why she wanted to see Alice so badly but it was making her very anxious. Her mother had told her about her gift and how it was similar to Alice's. Because Alicia was such a advanced child for her age she understood that maybe talking with Alice would help her better understand her gift and maybe even master it a little better. There more she was able to see the Red haired women of her visions that turned into a much darker and different wolf than her father the better.
Taking her eyes off the window she looked up at the clock on the wall. Time seemed to be moving very slowly but she seemed to since that Alice was even nearer. Jacob's snoozes could be heard and Alicia let out a little giggle as she imagined Jacob was having a very eventful and restful sleep. Looking out the window again she began to bounce. "She is here." Alicia said with a smile. She could feel it, Alice was on their property. Her eyes scanned the treeline in hopes to see any actual signs of Alice.

It had been an interesting couple of weeks for Alice as she and Jasper were spending more time together, talking and getting to know one another all over again. Part of Alice felt like she was meeting her husband for the first time, but another part of her knew every part of Jasper better than anyone in the family, even Rose. She had loved him for a century and that wasn't changing anytime soon. Other than spending time with Jasper, Alice had been planning for a new baby. Renesmee was expecting again and was due to deliver the baby sometime in the fall, which meant that Alicia was going to have a beautiful baby brother or sister soon enough. Alice had been helping Renesmee prepare their house for a new baby and decorating the new nursery like crazy, when Nessie would allow it. However, as Alicia's godmother, Alice knew that her first duty was to her goddaughter, whom she loved and spoiled quite often.
Thinking about that, Alice knew that she was going to go spend time with her little goddaughter today. It was a special afternoon that needed to be spent with Alicia. Alice knew that her powers were developing at an advanced rate from what Nessie had told her about Alicia's visions. Thinking on that, Alice grabbed her purse and set out from the mansion to the dividing line where Jacob and Nessie's house was. When she got close enough, she could definitely smell Jacob nearby, but the scent was one she was used to. She could also smell her little godchild and knew that she was waiting for her. Alice knew that Jacob would probably be sleeping and Nessie was out with Rose, shopping for the day. As she entered the property, she ran to the door and walked in the house, sensing that Alicia was the only one awake. When she found the little girl perched by the window, she smiled and sauntered over to pick up her goddaughter, hugging her. "Hi sweetheart," she said, laughing and kissing her cheek. "How did I know you would be waiting for me? I didn't even have a vision and I knew." Alice knew her own visions didn't work on half-breeds like Nessie...however, Alicia seemed to be the exception to that rule.

Alicia just smiled and giggled as Alice scooped her up in her arms and kissed her on the cheek. " I knew you were coming, i could see you were close by, but i really could not see." Alicia said as she buried her face in Alice's shirt. Even though she had looked forward to her visit she was still a little shy. "I could see you but i couldn't." she squealed again with delight. She was not the best with words when it came explaining her visions but she was sure Alice who shared the gift with her would understand. " Why am i special?" Alicia finally asked as she looked into her godmother's eyes. "My mommy tells me i am special. Like you and my daddy, mommy is special too." Alicia smiled. "But i want to be able to turn into a wolf like daddy, but i don't think i can." she said looking down at Alice's hand and starting to play with it. "Can you teach me how to be better at my gifts? Mommy says that im a lot like you." Alica beamed at Alice before breaking into another fit of giggles.
Jake's snoring was getting louder and Alicia was somewhat fearful that she might wake her daddy. "Lets be unnosiy though." Alicia said covering her mouth with one hand. Her eyes still smiled even though her month was not visible. Alice just being there with her was very comforting. She felt a deep and special connection to her, and even though she could not fully understand it, part of her thought that when she was older she would.

Alice smiled brightly as her little goddaughter said that she could "see" her without really seeing her in the first place, knowing that Alicia's powers were developing. Her own powers were connected to Alicia's, giving her the rare ability to see things involving her goddaughter. She had devloped this ability when Alicia was born, leading Alice to know that Alicia was a special little girl. It was something that was still devloping as Alicia grew, but Alice knew that by the time her godchild was older, they would all fully understand exactly how connected the two of them were. When Alicia asked why she was special, Alice had known that this day was coming for a long time. She had been preparing for it for months, since Alicia was just a newborn baby. Nessie had too. Having a gifted child that aged quicker than a normal child was hard. Bella knew that too, having raised Renesmee.
When Alicia asked her to teach her to be better at her powers, Alice knew she would never refuse this little girl anything in the world. Holding her, she opened the door and ran outside away from the house so they wouldn't disturb Jacob. She found a nearby clearing in the forest where she and Alicia would be safe. There was no immediate danger and she sensed no one nearby. Sitting down in the grass, Alice held Alicia in her lap. "You are special because you have a gift," she explained gently. "You and I share the same gift in fact. We see things in our minds...like dreams. We see these things before they happen, like looking into the future." Alice knew her own gift was limited, but she wasn't sure of how limited Alicia's was. "There isn't a way to exactly control our gift, but there is a way to use it to help people. To help our family. I use my visions to keep watch for danger."

Alicia let out a soft sigh as she listens to her Alice explain her gift. She was wrapped up in awe knowing that she shared a very special gift that would potentially help her family. I'm like a protector with my sight. Just like daddy! she exclaimed with delight. It was then that her voice got lower and she decided it was about time to ask about her dreams and visions of the red headed women that transformed into a vicious wolf. Do you see the red haired wolf women? she whispered. It had been a while since her dreams or visions but the cruel smile and piercing howl of the wolf seemed forever ingrained in her thoughts. She was scared and had the most horrible feeling that it would only be a matter of time before her visions were back. Her father was her protector but something told her that he himself was scared.
No sooner had she said that a vision surfaced. It seemed distant but the fear and hate were pretty much close. This time there were more wolves and the women stood in the middle of them howling with laughter. She was covered in blood and that was when Alicia realized the other wolves must have been like her father because they all laid motionless on the ground. They were protectors as well. It was then that Alicia was finally able to make out words for the first time. get the little one, that should lead the coldones to use. she laughed. The last part of her vision was her mother laying motionless in the corner. Alicia broke out of her vision in a sweat. she want to kill my family and his pack and she wants to take me too. She wants me as bait so you and the rest of my family, will fight them. She wants to kill, she wants blood that's all she wants. Her pack is getting bigger. she said looking at Alice with a few tears beginning to form. Everything she had ever saw was making sense the only planning the women seemed to be doing was how to go about her violent murders of Alicias family and the rest of forks.

Looking at Alicia, Alice knew that her sweet little godchild would eventually grasp the full meaning of her gift and abilities. For now, there was still a lot they didn't know about Alicia's gifts. Carlisle had mentioned that Alicia's abilities and visions could be limitless since she was a child of practically every world imaginable, but they wouldn't be sure until she was much older and full-grown. When Alicia declared that she was a protector like her father, Alice smiled and nodded. "Exactly like your daddy," she agreed, knowing that Alicia would love the idea of being like her daddy since she was becoming somewhat of a daddy's girl. It was cute in a lot of ways, but Alice knew that she would have to adjust when the new baby came in just a few weeks. Having a younger sibling was something Alice had experienced in her human life according to records, but she didn't remember it at all. Her attention snapped when Alicia asked her a question about a red haired wolf. To her knowledge, there were no red haired wolves in Jacob's pack, which concerned Alice right away.
Alice watched as her godchild slipped into an obvious vision and she had to wonder what she was seeing. Her own limits kept her from seeing what others saw, unlike Aro's ability to see every thought that passed through your mind from a single touch. When Alicia came out of it, Alice listened to her tearful recalling of the vision and knew that there was something seriously wrong. The children of the moon were nearing. The woman with red hair was obviously their leader and was coming after Alicia to get to the rest of the family. Alice took Alicia in her arms and held her close, rocking her back and forth like a baby. "No one is going to get you sweetheart," she said reassuringly. "We're going to protect you. I promise. Your mommy, daddy...all of us will protect you." Alice knew that she needed to talk to the rest of the family about this threat that was coming. If Alicia's visions were getting stronger, something big was about to happen. Something which might catch the attention of the humans if they weren't careful. The last thing they wanted was an all out war that could lead to exposure or for anyone in their family to be harmed. "I won't let her hurt you."

As Alice comforted her Alicia tried hard to shake the fear and visions from her mind. She trusted Alice's words and knew that anyone of her family would do anything to protect her. What worried Alicia the most though was the fact that her families efforts might not be enough. A small fear bubbled in the pit of her stomach because something told her this threat was much different from any wolf she had seen before, much more violent than her fathers pack. who is she? it seemed like such an odd question to ask she had gotten to know those cold blooded eyes and wicked smile over the months thanks to her gifts but she just could not understand why someone would be so hateful. It was hard for such an innocent heart to believe such hate even existed. why can you see her? she asked looking at Alice grimily. Part of her hoped if someone else saw the women's face it would comfort her knowing she did not have to be tormented alone .
Alicia clung to Alice even harder her little heart racing as she sucked on her thumb wondering when the threat would pass. Fairly Tales of Heroes and Villains seemed appealing when she was younger but realizing that those things were not just stories frightened her. Alicia knew her family was special, none of them were fully human but at least none if them were filled with the same hate she saw in this red haired women. Anyone else might of labeled then as Villains but not Alicia. Heroes always when right? Alicia asked hoping the answer would be yes and not only in fairly tales.

In the back of Alice's mind, she knew that this threat was different than before. The children of the moon were violent, uncontrollable, and the only serious threat that the Volturri had ever feared before. However, she knew that their one weakness was silver, like the werewolves of myth that were shown in movies all the time. They weren't shape shifters, like the La Push pack, but viscious monsters that held no reverence for human life or otherwise. If they wanted to harm an innocent child, like Alicia, then they all deserved to die a horrible death. But Alice wasn't going to think about that. When Alicia asked who she was, Alice didn't have an answer. "I'm not sure sweetheart," she said, hating the uncertainty she felt because her visions didn't reach as far as her sweet godchild's. When Alicia asked why she couldn't see her, Alice looked down. "My visions only go so far...I can't see the futures of the wolves like your daddy, half-breeds like your mommy, or of these wolves," she explained gently. "I can see humans because I once was one and vampires because I am one now...and you because we share this gift together."
Feeling her little goddaughter's heart racing, Alice held her and rocked her back and forth like a little baby, comforting her. This was so hard because Alice hated seeing her favorite child so distressed by something she couldn't controll. It hurt her to see that. Alice considered Alicia as much her own child since she and Jasper could not have one of their own and she loved Alicia like her own. When Alicia asked if heroes always won, Alice knew the truth of that statement was much more complicated than a child could understand, but she wasn't going to lie. "Yes, one way or another, heroes always win," she said. "Sometimes it might take a little longer and look pretty bad, but the heroes always pull through in some way or another." Alice thought of their own battles that they had come through over the years. James, Victoria, and the Volturri were all threats that they had defeated as a family, together. They would overcome this one too.

Alicia smiled as Alice reassured her that the Heroes always seemed to manage to pull through. Things might be hard in the next few weeks but she was beginning to have faith that eventually her visions and dreams would come to an end. Looking up at Alice sweetly she gave a timid smile. "What can you see about me?" she asked wondering if her visions could even pick up on her. "Can you see if i will be like my daddy someday?" she asked a little hopeful that eventually she would be able to have the same powers as Jake. She wanted more than anything to protect her family alongside with him but a part of her know that her special gift she processed now was about the only one she would have. Alicia could not help but personally feel a little helpless. She was only able to see the threats but she was not given any powers to defend herself and this discouraged her slightly. She loved her family so much but knew that she desired to be just as strong and capable as they were. She did not want to feel helpless or weak. She wanted to be able to protect the ones she loved just as much as they did for her.
Alicia personality was developing at a fast paced rate. She was more capable of understanding her self perception of herself and what she wanted for not only her but those that she loved. It did not surprise her that such a violent threat was after her to target her family. She understood that she was different from many children her age and embraced it with open arms. It was not considered a curse to her nor her family but rather a very important and special gift. Although she wished she could do more, she was going to do everything she could to help her family. The red locks of the women still wear burned into her brain, she had seen that face so many times that she was sure she would be able to draw it in seconds. All it was for now was a face with hateful eyes that ripped Alicia's heart apart knowing all that hate was aimed towards her and her family.

As Alice held her godchild in her lap, she breathed in her scent. It was a sweet mixture of her parents, minus the wet dog smell that usually accompanied Jacob anywhere he went. When Alicia asked what she saw about her future, Alice looked into the future for a moment to see what she could see. She knew that Alicia would grow up to be a beautiful child, just like her own mother had. As the little one asked if she would be like her father, Alice saw that she actually wouldn't. "You'll be more like your mommy actually, but that doesn't mean you won't be strong or fast," she said softly. "And I can see that you're going to have a little brother...the baby in your mommy's tummy is a boy. But shh...your daddy doesn't know that yet." Alice knew that her gift wasn't always used to see danger. She could see the good things too, like when the family was going to grow a little. She had forseen Alicia's birth in a vision, which lead her to know that she was connected to her goddaughter in more than just one way. Their shared gift of visions brought them closer together.
Alice stayed quiet for a moment, playing with the curls on Alicia's head for a moment and thinking about how much she longed for her own child. She hadn't ever considered it before Nessie's birth, but kept that to herself after because Rosalie had been the one who had wanted it for so long. But after Alicia's birth, Alice thought of it more and more. Knowing it was an impossibility made it even harder for her now that she and Jasper were back together and remarried. He was the only man that she would ever consider having children with, but since she could not have them physically, she would have to remain contented with her godchild. "I have a surprise for you," she said, looking down at the little girl in her lap and smiling. "It's a present just for you since your baby brother will be coming soon."

Alicia smiled as Alice explained to her about her abilities. It was a little disappointing that she would not be wolf like her father, but she wanted to be a protector just like him even if it meant using her visions to warn the rest of the family about danger. When Alice revealed that she was going to have a little brother her eyes grew wide. a little bit of jealously surfaced in her, did this mean that she was not going to be the center of attention like she was use to? Alica shock off the feelings when Alice mentioned a present. Smiling Alicia gave her godmother a hug. " I love presents." she declared with excitement. "What is it?" she asked looking into Alice's eyes. She was more than just excited about the gift.
Alicia's thoughts wandered back to her brother before long. Sure the news was exciting, but she was fearful that this might change everything. She would have someone to play with, but she would also have someone to compete with as far as attention went. The thought of a brother was bother exciting and irritating, she was overwhelmed with some many feelings that she was not sure which on to pay attention to. Alicia had not paid much attention to her pregnant mother because she was so wrapped up in the visions she had been getting over the past month.
