Wesley and his brother had been in Forks for a few days. They had taken their time to better acquaint themselves with the area before making the short trip out to La Push. Wesley was driving as he knew that Cade would have a desire to speed on the open roads. They had received directions from someone in Forks to the Black residence. Wesley had done much of the research and noticed that the family name of Black seemed to appear the most often. He had decided it would be the best place to start. Wesley had been driving twenty minutes or so when he found himself in the midst of a small neighborhood, “I think we’re here man. What’s the address?”
Wesley nodded at Cade’s comment about being in the right place, “I don’t have the house number though the gas station attendant didn’t know.” Wesley could feel Cade sit back in his seat. After a few more moments of driving Wesley resigned himself to parking the car and asking the only two people within his sight. Wesley parked the car and did not glance back when he could hear Cade getting out of the car as well. He knew his brother and the fact that Cade hated to stay very still for any length of time. Wesley stopped short of the two and realized they seemed to be in the middle of an important discussion. “Excuse me, sorry to interrupt but my brother and I are looking for the Black’s resident.”

Cade sat back in the seat. He was starting to get extremely antsy at meeting the people that could explain who and what they were. Cade realized that he could have a lot more patients but what was probably going to happen today would change their lives, and he wanted to make sure it would be for the best. Cade was also looking forward to meeting new people and see what would come with his new life. Wesley had only been driving for around fifteen minutes or so when he looked around. Cade noticed that houses seemed to pop up occasionally around them. “I think we’re here man. What’s the address?” Wesley replied a second later with a nod and comment that he did not know what the house address was. Cade plopped back against the seat again as he could feel his anticipation growing to find the Black household.
Wesley finally seemed to realize that he needed to find someone to get directions from. A few moments after that thought to himself Cade waited as his brother parked their car. He quickly decided that he did not wish to be left to sit in the car, he got out and followed his brother.

Jacob sighed after Lexi told him that she was going to keep guard on Sasha in wolf form, and he didn't know whether she knew or not but he was going to tell her anyways. "Ok, do what you must, but just know that if he so much as scratches you while in that state, it WILL effect you. We, as shape shifters are not immune to their…"
Just as Jacob was about to finish his sentence he was approached by a man, well, a young man, followed by another young man who looked exactly like him. Jacob's thoughts were still skeptic from thinking about Sasha, that when the stranger said "Excuse me, sorry to interrupt but my brother and I are looking for the Black’s resident.” his eyes narrowed. "I am Jacob Black, this is my home. What can I do for you?" He knew he was being kind of short with the strangers, but he was only being cautious. He looked back and forth between the twins and wondered what their story was, what had brought them out here, and why they were especially looking for his residence. Jacob turned to Lexi and motioned for her to head back in to the house, "We can finish this later, tell the group I'll be right in."

As Wesley approached the man and woman talking, he realized that they seemed to be fairly in depth with whatever they were discussing. Wesley knew that he normally would have approached them, but he needed to find Jacob Black. After a few seconds the woman went inside and the man turned to Wesley saying that he was the one that they had been looking for. Jacob seemed to be in no mood for jokes and Wesley questioned internally whether or not now would be the best time to ask about the La Push legends. Wesley could also feel his brother getting impatient behind him as he considered on how to best pose the questions. “Well my name is Wesley and this is my brother Cade, we’re from---”
Wesley was cut off by Cade’s annoyed scoff, “We’re here because you are the only person that could explain why we turn into wolves when we get pissed.” Wesley turned and shot his brother a look, to which Cade just shrugged and looked over to Jacob expectantly. Wesley turned back around to face Jacob with a sheepish and apologetic look, he scratched the back of his head. “Sorry ‘bout that Cade can get a little impatient about some stuff sometimes.”

Cade watched the two standing in the front lawn as he followed his brother. They seemed to be in an important discussion, but Cade did not care very much at that point. He did not hate what he had turned into that night, in fact it had been pretty interesting from his point of view. However Cade did wish that he had an explanation as to why he was the way he was. Cade had the words running through his head as he impatiently waited for Wesley to think of a way to explain things to Jacob, who was in front of them. Cade listened as Wesley began by introducing them and suddenly his patients flew out the window, “We’re here because you are the only person that could explain why we turn into wolves when we get pissed.”
Cade felt his arms cross instinctively over his chest when he noticed Wesley shooting him a warning look. He shrugged at his brother and looked to Jacob to watch for his reaction to his outburst. Wesley then apologized to Jacob for the outburst, and Cade felt his eyes roll back in his head.

The first kid began to look a bit uneasy, and the second one blurted out the reason why they were looking for his house. They needed information about being shape-shifters. 'Wonderful. Jacob thought sarcastically to himself. 'This should be interesting...'
Jacob took a deep breath and sighed. "Ok. For lack of time, I'll give you the short version. You are both now a part of the make-believe and fantasy world that most humans only dream about. There are such things as vampires, shape-shifters, and...ware-wolves.' he said this last part with a sort of disgust, 'You are not ware-wolves, you are shape shifters...and every other soul in that house is a shape-shifter. We shift into wolves and our job is to protect the unprotected, including the humans, and our family, which now includes the vampires. Ware-wolves on the other hand are a more difficult topic, and yet, however, may be a part of our family soon as well...even thought I'm not happy about it." The last sentence was more of a thought that Jacob felt the need to express in order to sort out things in his head, even though the two new comers had absolutely no idea what he was talking about.
"Your protection instincts and anger triggered the phase...why don't you come on inside and meet the rest of the pack. Were having a meeting of sorts, and you should come get acquainted. You're our brothers now, whether you like it or not." He started up the steps and turned to make sure they felt welcome and waved his hand for them to follow him. He opened the door and stepped inside and waited for them to enter.

Wesley was surprised that Jacob did not seem to be thrown at all by Cade’s blurting out. Not even by what Cade had chosen to ask him. Jacob did not seem to be in the greatest of moods for sure now. Jacob explained that they were not werewolves but shape-shifters that happened to be wolves. Jacob seemed to add as an after thought that actual werewolves could become a part of their family, despite his approval. Wesley then could hear the wheels turning inside of his brother’s head and said, “Don’t even start Cade,” without turning to face his twin. Cade he could well imagine was rolling his eyes.
A few seconds later Jacob came out of his own thoughts and explained what it was that had caused them to turn into a wolf. He then invited Wesley and Cade to come inside and meet the rest of the pack. Wesley nodded and followed Jacob to the house and slapped a hand over his eyes as he heard Cade say, “So let’s meet the new family!” Wesley muttered to himself, “This is going to be a long day.”

Cade could feel his grin growing the further Jacob explained what their new history was. He laughed a little as Jacob’s explanation of what they had become, “Good to know we have become a fairy tale.” Cade had no ill feelings towards it, in fact he was relieved to find an explanation for what he had turned into. He could feel himself getting excited as questions began to run through his head at the thoughts of what this now meant. Cade then heard his brother warn him to not begin the rain of questions. He scoffed at his twin an rolled his eyes thinking, ‘I was just going to ask a couple questions.’
Jacob then invited them to come inside and meet some of the others from the pack, and that they were now apart of a family. Cade grinned again and clapped his hands together saying, “So let’s meet the new family!” Cade noticed that Wesley already seemed drained, and he wanted to tone down so Wesley would relax but he could feel himself bouncing around too easily at the moment.

Lexi knew that Jacob was worried about her and the rest of the pack. She also knew that Sasha was going to have to meet and talk to Jake soon. When Jake mentioned that she was not immune to Sasha, she looked down. Lexi knew that all to well. "Jake, I know the danger, but I also know that I can not fight against the imprinting. We have never truly understood it, but you know that it is not something I can resist. Being away from Nessie for those years that she was in London, almost killed you. Would you ask me to do the same?" Lexi said to Jacob. She knew that he would understand better than any other member of the pack. "I will be careful and make sure that I am not with in his reach." Lexi said as she noticed the two men approaching. "Yes, Jake we can finish this later." She said as she turned to walke back into the house. Lexi knew that Jake would help her, even he was not totally keen on the idea of her mate.
Lexi walked back into the house and took her place beside Leah and Josh. Lexi knew that as a senior member of the pack, she would be expected to help the younger ones and to fulfill her duties to the pack. Lexi loved her pack as they were her brothers and sisters, she would never endanger them and she knew that if she had to, she would make the decision that would kill her to protect them. "Leah, we need to talk after the meeting. I have alot to tell you and it seems that you have something to tell me." Lexi said smiling at her best friend.
