Background/History: Ashlan, as he normally likes to be called. Was born the same month as his sister only three years later. Unlike his sister, Ashlan was encouraged to play sports growing up. he had gotten very good a baseball, a new but growing sport in America. His life of crime started out on betting on various baseball games. He later got involved with is sister in taking up the job as a con-artist along with her. they had robbed a few small, banks being able to successfully get away with things uncaught and unnoticed. Ashlan preferred bootlegging more than anything. he desired to become apart of the mob, because he thought it was a rush and a thrilling experience. He had gotten very good at not only making various guns, but had a very good skill when it came to shooting. He had never killed anyone before his vampire days, because he always made it an effort only to wound people. This trait of course would have been frowned on when it came to the mob.
That fateful morning when Ashlan and his sister found their parents lifeless on the ground and a small new born vampire sitting on the bed, Ashlan was soon found fighting for his sister’s life as the new vampire began sucking the life out of her. Ashlan managed to pull the vampire off his sister only to find himself the next victim. Apparently this new born vampire only mission was to create an army of young vampires, and feeding off the old. Ashlan and Candice’s creator was later found and killed by werewolves while trying to build an army of young vampires way before bella had even met Edward. Ashlan was not too happy with his new life, missing the thing he loved most, being able to eat real food. He cursed the heavens for his hunger of blood and the monster he had become. With the help of his sister he later came to accept who he was, and turn his negative experience in to a positive one.
Ashlan through the centuries would play baseball on various minor league teams, with the side job of his crime against the undeserving and feeding off of them. Ashlan loved and looks up to his siter a lot, and usually has to rely on her from going completely mad because he often will feed on anyone and anything if given the chance. He has less control over his hunger than his older sister. As the years went on Ashlan’s new life grew on him and he was at least somewhat content on being a vampire.
Personality: Very competitive, goofy, and good at baseball, often loses his temper and control when it comes to hunger. He is known as being a very gentle spirit when he can be, and also can sometimes be the voice of reason to Candice when she has no one else to rely on. He loves his siter very much and would do anything for her. very protective of her, and often does not like other men talking to her, unless he seems them fit to do so.
