By this time, Cody was absoultely overwhelmed in awe of this girl. Not only was she athletic, but she loved old school stuff like he did. It was as if the heavens had opened up and given him the most perfect girl in the world right in front of him. When his parents had announced they were moving to Forks, he thought it was going to be literal hell on earth, but he could see that now it was not going to be so bad as long as he got to be around Aviary. "Oh the Beatles are classic!" he exclaimed. "And Muse is amazing. Old music is so much better than some of the techno copy cats they have today."
The more they walked, he noticed that Aviary's body drifted toward his own again. He didn't mind being this close to her. In fact, he didn't want her to drift away. Debating for a few moments with himself over whether or not to take her hand, he finally decided to go for it to see what would happen. Slowly he slid his fingers to interlock with her own, finding that her hands were small and delicate compared to his. He liked the feeling of how they 'fit' together as one, like they were made for one another. And he knew that if Emery ever saw this moment, he would never live it down later. But, for the time being, he didn't care and only focused on Aviary. He looked up at her to gage her reaction, hoping she wouldn't mind what had just happened.

As Aviary felt Cody reach for her hand and automatically she drifted even closer to him. It felt as if maybe Cody could read her mind, and she did not feel that ashamed about leaning against him because it seemed that Cody was just as nervous and thinking the same things about Aviary as she was about him. She looked deeply into her eyes and smiled. “Funny, how we seem to be thinking the same thing.” She said softly being able to finally read Cody’s actions and smiles as signs. she draw in her body closer, she was close enough that she could hear his heart beat. Aviary lifted Cody’s interlocked hand within hers and kissed it softly. Aviary was now able to be read like an open book, she saw that she just beamed with excitement. She did not mind being close to Cody at all, there hand seemed to fit together perfectly like puzzle pieces.
Aviary did not say much because she was too wrapped up in the moment; she closed her eyes still wearing a big smile. She never wanted this moment to end, and she hoped that as the year went on she would have more and more moments like this with Cody. Aviary world seemed to stop, all that existed at that time was Cody and her. She longer took the time to worry about school, or the desires of her heart, she just went with things and luckily the one thing she wanted more than anything wanted her too.

A wash of relief crashed over Cody as he saw her look at him and smile as he held her hand. It was finally a conclusion in his mind that she felt the same way that he did. The obvious attraction between the two of them had finally been released as she confirmed it in words. They were of alike mind and thoughts, which Cody was pleasantly surprised since most girls that were as beautiful and intelligent like Aviary already had a boyfriend or just weren't interested in him that way. This time...he got incredibly lucky. As she kissed his hand and smiled at him, Cody couldn't help but feel the biggest grin in the world cross his face. It was like the entire cosmos lined up and BAM fate intervened and gave him the biggest Christmas/Birthday/New Years/Every other holiday present in the world. And her name was Aviary.
Cody stopped their walk in the center of the square, near the town's fountain to walk in front of Aviary for a moment. Still holding one hand, he placed the other on her cheek gently and leaned forward to press his lips to hers. They molded to her perfect lips like they were only made for hers. It was the sweetest first kiss he had ever had with a girl and nothing else in the world could compare to how perfect it was. The air around them was crisp and light with the fall scents and her skin was warm. When he let go, he looked into her eyes for a moment and smiled. "I've been wanting to do that all week..." he admitted quietly, so only she could hear.

Aviary was lost in the moment when her lips met his. When it was over, she smiled. "I've been wanting to do that all week..." Aviary face lit up with delight. “ well I am glad you did, because I have been waiting for you do something like that all week as well.” Aviary leaned up against him, embracing him. Aviary began to kiss him back, not know what else she could say in words, she decided to express herself by actions. She felt complete and was amazed that this was happening all so fast and she was being given one of the greatest gifts ever. When she was finished she looked into Cody’s blue eyes, and stroked her fingers through some of his hair. “So I guess this is what it feels like to met a soul mate.” Aviary had never felt this way before, and she was convinced that there was a deep and meaningful reason why she happened to met Cody. “ I know you will be sure to protect me from any oversized wolves or monsters that happen to be living out in the woods.” She said with a laugh.
Aviary could not take her eyes of him. Her heart was racing and she could tell that all the love she felt was flowing from her. She had never felt so real to anyone one before, she knew she was letting her guard down but she did not mind. She wanted Cody to know every inch of her heart; because now it belonged to him.

When their kiss ended and Aviary looked into his eyes, Cody could feel his heart melding to this girl in front of him as she pressed her little body against his in a warm embrace. He had never felt so happy before in his seventeen years of life. Aviary gave him that feeling...the feeling that he could do anything in the world. Everything was on a string for him now. He could fly if he wanted to, he felt so light. When she retorted that she had been waiting for him to do something all week as well, he couldn't help but let his grin grow as her lips touched his again. When they let go this time, he couldn't help but agree with her saying that they were soul mates. There was a reason for all things and obviously fate had brought them together for some reason. "I will protect you from anything," he declared before grinning and adding, "monsters and all."
Chuckling, he wrapped his arms around her and picked her up gently, spinning around in place near the fountain in the town square. He couldn't have imagined a more perfect day to spend with Aviary. Forks certainly was a beautiful town and he saw the simplicity as perfect. When he set her back down, he looked into her perfect hazel eyes and smiled once again. "I think that moving to Forks was the best thing my family ever did," he said, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I thought it would be hell to move somewhere and start over, but now I see that it only brought me to you."

Aviary was very happy that Cody was just as excited as she was. She leaned in closer once Cody grabbed her waist. The butterflies in her stomach seemed to be dancing like crazy. She did not want this day to end. “I can’t agree anymore.” she said softly. “I am really glad we moved to this silly strange town as well.” she erupted in laughter because she could not believe what was happening too her and also because she was just happier than she had ever felt in her life. “Hold me close and never let go.” She said with a beaming smile. “The world just seems so prefect when I’m around you.” His protection and embrace brought even more joy to Aviary. She was glad that she had someone that loved her just as much as she loved him. It was getting darker, but she did not mind. The lights that reflect off the fountain water danced in the cold fall night. Aviary kissed him again, not really knowing the reason, other that her gratitude towards him. “As you can tell, I like to give kisses out.” she admitted. “But the one thing I love more than anything is to cuddle.” Her eyes sprinkled with delight, because she knew there would be plently of kissing and cuddling to come when she was around Cody.
It was getting later, and she knew she should try to head home before her dad got too suspicious about what really happened. She knew one of his first assumptions would be she was with a guy, but she would reassure him that Cody was not like all the other guys she had ever know. She also had some homework to do, but Aviary did not mind staying up late to finish it. She wanted to be with Cody just a little bit longer before she had to announce her departure.

Everything about her smile told Cody that this moment was perfect. He never wanted to see her frown because he knew his world would cease to revolve if the one person that truly mattered wasn't happy. He held her close and smiled when she said to never let go. "I'll never let you go," he promised. "So long as I'm breathing and able, you will never be without me." It seemed so strange to say to someone he had only really just met, but he had heard that once you knew you loved someone...you just knew. And he supposed that this was one of those times where he just knew that Aviary was meant for him. He noticed the sunlight beginning to fade with the beginning of twilight, creating the perfect atmosphere in the air. Fall weather was his favorite as the days grew purple when she sun went down and the night air became colder.
Feeling her lips against his again, he smiled and pulled her closer. When she let go and admitted to her enjoyment of kissing and cuddling, Cody knew that there would be no problem in that department. "Well then," he said, giving a bright smile. "I'm sure that will keep us warm when the weather outside is cold like this." He laughed and wrapped his arms around her to make sure that she was warm enough as the temperature dropped. "Would you like to go inside somewhere where it's warmer so we can talk some more?" he asked.

"Would you like to go inside somewhere where it's warmer so we can talk some more?" Aviary smiled. “ I would certainly would not mind, that is, as long as your coming with me.” Aviary bit her bottom lip and studied Cody’s face some more. Cody seemed to captivate her. “ you can pick the place, I trust your judgment.” She said with a wink. She slowly ran her fingers across his cheek, exploring the man that had just recently taken her heart captive. “ you feel a little cold.” She said drawing her fingers away from his cheek. “ maybe another kiss might warm you up.” this time she kissed him gently on the cheek. She draw back and waited for him to choose the place that they would be spending the rest of the evening at.
Forks might have been a small boring town when Aviary got there, but now it seemed that forks had a different look about it. it was if someone had come down from the heavens and given Aviary a new perspective on life itself. As long as Cody was by her side, she knew that anything and everything was possible.

Cody was glad to hear that he could spend some more time with Aviary because he was not ready to let go of the most perfect girl in the world for the night. As she bit her bottom lip, Cody could feel a smile creep across his face again. She had the cutest facial expressions in the world that no one could ever match up with. And as her fingers met his cheek, he knew that he would never want another girl to touch him ever again. Much to his complete pleasure, she declared that he needed another kiss and gave him one on his cheek. Pulling her close, he wrapped his arm around her waist and started to walk toward the perfect place he knew that was right in the town square.
"I think that this was the best idea I've had all week," he said as they walked through the night air. "I'd honestly been looking forward to hanging out with just you outside of school and I'm really glad I did." When they got to their destination, he opened the door for her to walk inside of the diner. Forks had all but one restaurant in the entire town to offer, but Cody knew that the warm atmosphere would be much better for conversations with Aviary. This night had turned out to be the best night since his move to Forks just a few weeks prior and he couldn't wait to see what the future would hold in store for himself and Aviary, especially once he told Emery that he was dating someone.
(OOC: We can still continue this thread even though they moved locations...just keep posting here!)

Aviary was happy that she had made Cody’s week, of course this feeling was mutual. When they ended the dinner, Aviary felt as if all the ice was melting off her, it was just then that she was able to realize the temperature difference compared to outside. Automatically Aviary was drawn back to Cody, feeling a slight emptiness when she was not by his side. Once they both reached a table, Aviary sat down still glued to Cody’s side. She did not care what kind of impression she was giving the rest of the world, she was happier than she had ever been before.” So what kind of things do you want to talk about?” She said with a smile, their faces inches apart. Aviary began to play with Cody’s hands, they were still a little cold from outside, but she could feel them warming up slowly.
Aviary could tell she was starting to get very sleepy. She knew if she allowed herself, she would be able to just fall asleep in Cody’s arms, and she really would not care all that much. Aviary waited while Cody thought about anything and everything he wanted to ask her. She leaned her head on his shoulders and let out a deep and longing sigh. Things were indeed prefect.

Once inside the diner, he felt Aviary automatically draw back to him. This, of course, he did not mind at all since he was enamoured by her very presence. She was a source of light in his life that he felt drawn to every second now. It was like she was exactly what he needed. As they sat down at a booth together, she snuggled next to him. He smiled as their faces were inches apart, knowing he loved having this intimate moment with her. The rest of the world was nil to him when Aviary was around because all of his attention was focused on her. He had never felt so passionate about one girl before, especially not one he had just met. But Aviary was different, he could tell.
"We can talk about anything you like," he replied to her question. "Tell me more about yourself...anything you can think of." He chuckled and kissed her forehead softly as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders to bring her closer to him. Her tiny body was warm and soft against his, but he liked that feeling. He knew that many wonderful things were in store for himself and Aviary now that they were together. And he also knew that Forks High School would never be the same. His world was a better place because of the beautiful girl cuddling into him right then.

“Well when I was five, I used to have dog named pebbles. I named him because he used to go out in the backyard and eat rocks. My dad hated him but I absolutely adored him, lets see what else…well when I was 13 years old I broke my left arm. It was a very stupid and stubborn mistake. I was playing basketball, and I got a little too competitive. There was this horrible girl on the other team that got on my nerves. I got pretty mad and at one point when she stole the ball from me for the third time I shoved her into a wall, breaking her nose and my arm. Needless to say, I sat out the rest of the game, but after that. No one else ever gave me problems. I got one hell of a lecture from my dad once we got home from the hospital though.” Aviary thought for a moment. She was not exactly sure these were the kinds of things Cody wanted to hear about but she felt comfortable telling him stories about her childhood. For that moment it was actually kind of entertaining.
“ I have to admit it, but I kind of like when it rains outside, and your stuck there in the middle between two buildings, running like hell to the next trying to get inside because your just soaked. There have been several time where I have just given up in the middle of those down pours and played in the rain. As uncomfortable as wet clothes feels, it almost thrilling to just continue to get soaking wet. You kind of feel like your breaking the rules, almost like you’re a kid again. for those few seconds your standing there in the rain, nothing really seems to be that important. I kind of like moments like that.” She said looking up at him. “it’s just now I don’t have to wait for it to rain, I can just look at you and I get the same feelings.” Aviary could not believe how lucky she was to have someone like Cody in her life. “ now tell me a few things.”

Listening to Aviary share stories from her childhood, Dakota couldn't help but smile. Everything about Aviary was beautiful to him, from her smile to her innate ability to bring out a grin from him when he least expected it. He was entertained by her story of how she broke her arm and another girl's nose in basketball because of her competitive nature. Aviary was definitely the kind of girl he would have actually hung out with when he was younger and thought girls had "cooties" or whatever little boys thought when they wouldn't allow little girls to come play with them on the playground in elementary school. He couldn't help but adore her. Damn I am the luckiest guy alive, he thought to himself. And he knew how true that was.
His smile only grew when she talked about playing in the rain as he made a mental note to tuck that away somewhere for later use. If there was one thing he knew for sure, it was that Aviary was unlike any other girl he'd ever known or dated. (Which only amounted to two previous girlfriends...one of which really didn't count because they dated a week.) As he looked down at her, he hugged her and pressed his lips to hers quickly before answering her request. "Let's see here...I broke my leg when I was in the third grade. We were playing soccer outside with some fifth graders and didn't have shin-guards because the school didn't provide them. Needless to say, they have them now because of me," he chuckled at the thought of spending six weeks in that lime green cast. "I love to play soccer, run track, and have been in martial arts since I was six." He sifted through his mind to find more things to tell her that wouldn't be boring or monotonous.
Finally, he smiled and looked at her. "And you have completely stolen my heart," he said as he crooked his finger under her chin to bring her lips to his again for the perfect kiss. Nothing and no one else mattered in that moment because he had the world in his arms. When their kiss ended a few moments later, he looked into her eyes. "And I have to say that it's the first time I'm willingly giving it over."

“Is it possible for you to have stolen my heart as well?” She said with a smirk. Aviary was still in disbelief that this was really happening to her. “This must be a dream, and if it is, I hope I never wake up from It.” she finally admitted. She was very much in a state of disbelief and could barely contain her excitement. “ I have another story to tell you.” she said with a laugh thinking of another childhood memory she could share. “It’s kind of random, but for some reason it really sticks out in my mind. I think I was maybe around the age of 3 years old. My dad had left me with a very inexperienced baby sitter since she kind of sent me to bed as soon as my dad left, so she could make out with her boyfriend. Anyway, to get back at her, because I was rather angry I was not the center of attention, like I thought I should be. I made myself sick.”
Aviary looked up at Cody with a smile. “I literally made myself sick, I guess I just kept thinking about how mad and upset I was at the fact that I was not her central focus that night. Anyway, I went down stair while she was pretty much having her face sucked off by her boyfriend and I told her I was not feeling well. Angry and frustrated with me she yelled at me to go to bed, and that she was going to give a horrible report to my father if I did not go back to my room. I did not leave so the boyfriend took it upon himself to drag me back upstairs. Before he could lay a finger on me I lost it, like completely threw up all over him. Looking back I’m surprised I had great aim. Needless to say that relationship did not last very long, and I never had that babysitter again.” Aviary paused for a moment. “Not really sure why I shared that, but my mind likes to bring up random events every now and then.” She admitted.
“I guess if you want me, you going to have to except all my quirks. Pointless stories and all.” a big grin spread across her face because something told her Cody would not have one problem with this at all. “And I guess now you know what will happen if you make me too upset.” She said jokingly. “Don’t worry I have lost my ability make myself sick, I could have really used that in middle school. Too bad all the cool stuff goes away with childhood.” Aviary looked back into Cody’s. “ I hope you know what you’re getting into. I’m not perfect, and I have a lot of weird and wild sides to me. sometimes I even scare myself. I guess the good thing is I feel like I can be as honest and open with you than I have ever felt with anyone. I guess that is why I share pointless childhood stories.”

Cody could feel another smile come on as Aviary asked if it was possible that he had stolen her heart as well. This was the most unusual beginning to a relationship that he had ever heard of, but he was certain that being unique was their strong suit. Every moment he spent with Aviary was almost as if it were stolen from some story book written by an imaginative author that wrote of happy endings and perfect lives. He half expected to wake up in his bed with Emery hitting him over the head with one of his pillows and this all to be some dream he cooked up in his head. However, this was real. He could feel Aviary in his arms and could hear his heart beating in his ears in excitement. This was the most happiness he had felt in almost two and a half years, since Emery's parents died. Watching his best friend lose her parents had not been the easiest thing in the world, so having Aviary in his life now definitely was the best.
When she began to share another story from her childhood, Cody couldn't help but laugh as she explained what had happened to her babysitter and the boyfriend. In his mind, he knew that it was exactly something that he would have done at that age, which made him admire her even more for doing so. Every little thing, even the stories from her childhood, enraptured Cody. Aviary fascinated him to no end with her quirky personality and vivacious thrill for life. None of it would have scared him away in the least bit, but only served as a way to draw him in more. Every part of Aviary attracted him, from her beautiful eyes to the way she smiled at him and her bubbly laugh that only made him smile more. "I do take every part," he said, kissing her temple lightly. "The good. The bad. And all that's in between."
"And I guess since we're sharing pointless stories, I'll tell you one of my favorites," he said, grinning from ear to ear like an idiot. He knew that this particular story was the best one from his childhood that his parents still told at all the family reunions and Christmas gatherings of their friends. "When I was about four or five-years-old, I was still working out the kinks of potty training. So, I happened to be at an appliance store with my parents one afternoon, I think it was Home Depot or Lowe's. And apparently I had to go to the bathroom really bad, but my dad kept telling me to hold on just a little longer and he would take me." Cody looked down at Aviary and started to chuckle, knowing exactly what was coming. "Well I started looking around and saw a toilet in one of the sections that they set up as displays. Being the ingenius child I was, I walked right over to one, pulled up the lid, pulled down my pants and proceeded to relieve myself. By the time my father realized what had happened, one of the employees had come over. He was laughing so hard that he couldn't really do anything to really charge my father for damages. My mother was mortified, but my dad was laughing with the store employee." Cody couldn't help but laugh with the memory of that story. "My dad learned the next time that if I had to go...we would make a pit stop by the real bathroom to avoid anymore accidents."
