Renesmee watched with complete joy as Jacob began a game with their daughter, who was enjoying herself thoroughly as they ran through the meadow. Alicia was incredibly fast for a child her size, but Renesmee never doubted that she would be because of her genetics on both sides. In the back of her mind, she consistantly wondered who Alicia would be like as she grew older. While she did have vampire in her, there was also the Quileute side to her as well. She was already growing at an accelerated rate, so Renesmee could only imagine what their daughter would be like once she matured. No one had known what she would be like when she grew up, but everyone loved her as she loved Alicia now.
Once Jacob caught Alicia and turned the game around so that she was it, Renesmee watched her daughter sneak up on Jacob like a lion stalking its prey. Her little growl caused a small chuckle at the back of Renesmee's throat. She is most definitely Jacob's daughter, she thought amusingly to herself. A little pair of chocolate brown eyes met her own and she smiled at Alicia approvingly. Sitting down on a nearby boulder, she placed her chin on her hands and laughed lightly. "So I have my little lion and my big, bad wolf?" she asked jokingly.

She was quicker than he thought. She must have spied him just as he crouched behind the boulder. He laughed when growled and said, "You can't fool a lion." With his daughter still on his back he stood up and began to run around with her, being very careful. He zigged and zagged and romped around with his daughter. He ran a couple of circles around his wife, and then stopped suddenly in front of her. With their faces just inches apart Jacob leaned in and rubbed noses with her, and said, "Ha...now. TAG! Mom's it!"
With Alicia still on his back he began to run from Nessie, that way she had to chase not only him, but their daughter as well. He was so thankful that he was able to have this day to be with just his wife and daughter, this was the most fun that he had had in a long time. He glanced back to see if his wife was chasing after them and winked at her. "Life can't get any better than this... he thought to himself.

Wathing her husband and child run around the meadow, Renesmee couldn't help but feel at peace with the world right then. Even though she knew that there were still problems facing their entire family, she could forget about them for the time being while she was in this place with Jacob and Alicia. The giggles of her daughter brought her heart so much happiness that it chased the darkness away entirely. It was hard to believe that she was a mother now, but she would never trade this for anything else in the world.
When Jacob began to run around her, she followed them with her eyes before Jacob got inches from her face and rubbed noses with her, declaring that she was now it in their little game. Smiling, she crouched to the ground as he took off running again. A second later, she leapt across the meadow and started to run after her husband and child. Jacob was fast, but she was just as fast. However, she ran a little slower to make this more of a game for Alicia, but finally caught up a minute or two later. "I got you!" she declared and grabbed her husband's hand to pull him close to her, mindful that their daughter was on his back. Looking over his shoulder, she smiled at Alicia. "Mommy got you," she said, laughing and reaching over Jacob's shoulder to kiss her daughter's cheek.

Alicia laughed as her mother kissed her check. Alicia hugged her dad’s back tightly and tried to figure out what she wanted to do next. Alicia enjoyed playing tag with her parents but Alicia at this point was up for exploring other options. “What should we do now?” she asked looking at her father and then mother. Alicia was very content in the moment, she was more than just thrilled to be spending time with her parents and from the looks of things she could tell they were enjoying themselves too.
Alicia looked around the meadow at all the trees and flowers. Everything seemed still and prefect, matching the moment perfectly as if she was in a dream. Alicia smiled knowing that this moment was for real and nothing was ever going to take this moment away from her because she would remember this forever.
