Renesmee stood in the kitchen of her home, fixing herself some lunch. Alicia had finally gone down for her nap, so she was taking a few moments to herself. Being a mother to a physically advancing child that was both vampire and werewolf was exhausting. Alicia looked almost like a one and a half year old now at almost four months old and constantly kept Renesmee on her toes. Within the last week, Alicia had discovered how to run and loved to play tag with mommy, even if mommy was already doing something else. Alicia was a curious child, which Renesmee attributed to her and Jacob's personalities intertwining in their child. However, she knew she was more than thankful to have a daughter because she thought she may never have a child. She and Jacob had been blessed to have Alicia in their lives. Her heart and soul was put into a tiny being that was now sleeping in the next room over from the kitchen.
As she sat down at the table to eat her lunch of chicken soup and grilled cheese, she thought of how beautiful her daughter was becoming. She had dark ringlet curls that were near her shoulders and chocolate brown eyes that could kill anyone where they stood. Her skin was fair and soft, much like Renesmee's. But the one thing Renesmee could not get enough of was her dimples and smile, both of which she inherited from Jacob. She adored her daughter's dimples as they were perfect little reminders of the husband she loved so much and rarely saw these days because of pack duties. As she sat there, she thought of when he would be coming home as she missed him dearly.

Today was going to be a good day. Jake had been making plans for this day for a while. He even made plans enough to give Leah a heads up on his absence for the rest of the day, as he sprinted in wolf form to his house and two beautiful girls at home. He had gotten up extra early that morning, in hopes of having an uneventful run, which he did, and then getting to spend the rest of the day with his two most favorite people in the world. As he ran the last few miles home, he thought of his daughter, the fair-skinned, dark-haired, sweet angel named Alicia. And his amazingly stunning wife, Renesemee. No, Nessie was what he was used to calling her, it was more of how he thought of her, when he used or heard her full name, he saw her as more sophisticated. And when he heard Nessie, he thought it sounded more like funny, and very personable girl he was always with. Either way, she was all he could think of as he neared the house.
Excitement rolled off of him, and he couldn't keep his signature smile from stretching ear to ear as he phased, threw on his clothes, and then entered his house and sought the two loves of his life. On a hunch, he went to the kitchen first, and sure enough, there was one of them right in front of him. With his smile still in place, he sat down as calmly as possible and took his wife's hands in both of his, and said. "Let's go on a date today. You, Alicia, and Me. Let's go do something, anything you want to do. It's all about you baby, I've missed you so much these past few weeks, even though I've been in and out constantly. And I need time with my girls."

The more she thought about it, the more Renesmee wished that Jacob would just show up for the day unannounced and just spend time with her. It had gotten to the point where she just wanted her husband back...the husband that existed at the beginning of their marriage when it was just the two of them on Isle Esme. She could not imagine her life without their daughter, but having to share Jacob with the rest of the pack was not ideal. However, she did understand that Jacob had a duty to his tribe, his pack, and to himself as the Alpha. As she thought about these thoughts, she nibbled some on her sandwich and ate some of the soup she had left in her bowl. Her thoughts still occupied her mind so much that her hunger just was not there anymore, so she set her sandwich down and just sat at the table.
Less than a minute later, her wish was answered as Jacob came breezing through the door and sat across from her at their table, exclaiming that the day was theirs to go out on a date with their daughter as a family. Breathing a sigh of relief, Renesmee smiled and held onto his warm hands. "I would love that," she said. "Alicia went down for a nap about a half-hour ago, but she should be waking up anytime now and I know she would love to see her daddy." Renesmee knew that the moment Alicia saw Jacob, there would be no stopping the chaos that would ensue. Jacob was a wonderful, enthusiastic father who adored their daughter and Alicia returned that love and enthusiasm equally. "I've missed you so much too," she exclaimed as she leaned over the table and kissed him.

It'd been a while since he had really been alone with his Nessie. And just as before, this kiss was just as exhilarating…He closed his eyes and returned her kiss with emotions that let her know he really has been missing her. Pulling away, eyes still closed, Jacob smacked his lips together, savoring the taste of her sweet lips. "Mmmm." He said opening his eyes to take in her beauty, once again. "I'm excited, I've been missing Alicia too!" He smiled a mischievous smile and couldn't help but think of the fun they would be having, rolling around in the floor, or picking on each other for the whole day. His relationship with Alicia was a very playful one, and he was proud of it.
"So, what are we going to be doing today, my Love?" There was a number of options rolling through Jacob's head, but he wanted this day to be absolutely all about his girls, and what they wanted to do. Still holding her hands Jacob waited patiently for her response, and started drawing invisible hearts on the back of her right hand and smiled.

Renesmee took in this moment for all that it was worth. Little moments like this with her husband had been far and few between because of their duties as new parents, his pack duties, and all of the recent drama with her family. But this was all about her and Jacob now, so she was going to enjoy every moment of it. Jacob and Alicia were the two most important people in her life, so spending the day with them was going to be wonderful. Sighing happily as their kissed ended and Jacob commented on how excited he was to see their daughter once she woke from her nap, Renesmee felt like all was right with the world once again. Well, at least her world was set right.
Feeling the invisible hearts Jacob was drawing on the back of her right hand, she smiled a little more. "I was thinking that maybe we could take Alicia out to our little place," she said sweetly. "The place where we went to after I first came home from London and where we went to right after you proposed to me." Renesmee thought back to those moments, knowing that they were two of the happiest moments in her entire life. The feelings she had on those two nights were unlike any others because she had just been reunited with her one true love and then he had just asked her to be his wife. Nothing could have ever taken those moments from her and now that they had a daughter, she wanted that place to have a new special meaning for their little family. Taking her left hand, she placed it gently on Jacob's cheek and gave him the memories she was thinking of in that moment about their place in the woods. First of their reunion once she returned home from London and then of their time together after he proposed. Removing her hand after, she smiled gently at him.

Jacob closed his eyes as Nessie took his hand to show him what she was thinking about. He loved it when she did that; he loved seeing their precious moments from her perspective. When she was done he opened his eyes and stared into hers, and said, "Of course, that sounds like the perfect place to spend the day with my two girls. And speaking of, I am going to go take a sneak peek into her room...I'll be right, back, don't go anywhere...unless you need to I guess." He chuckled to himself and reluctantly got up from the table and walked down the hallway to his little angel's room. He cracked the door open and searched for her precious face. He tried his best to be quiet but failed as her door squeaked loudly as he continued to open her door. His eyes searched for her bed, and when he found it, she was no where in sight. His heart started racing, faster than it normally does, and he pushed the door open quickly and scanned the rest of the room.
There, in the far corner of her room, sitting Indian-style, playing with some of her toys, sat Alicia. He smiled the biggest, and most proud smile ever and said "Lecie, guess who is home!!! Would you like to have a fun day with Mommy and Daddy?"

Renesmee could only smile when Jacob agreed to go to their place. It was something she wanted to share with their daughter as it was special to both her and Jacob. She couldn't wait to see their daughter running around in the meadow's grass and watch her climb onto the rocks, proudly proclaiming that she could do it herself. Even at four months old, Alicia was very much a toddler physically and mentally she was even beyond that. Renesmee couldn't help but feel like her own mother, watching her child grow so fast that it was literally unreal. However, she knew that all was right with her world because Alicia was healthy and happy. And she had Jacob there. Renesmee could ask for no more than that; a beautiful daughter and a wonderful husband. When Jacob disappeared to Alicia's room, Renesmee couldn't help but follow a few minutes later and watched as Alicia got up from her toys and ran over to Jacob excitedly. Smiling, she walked over to her husband and daughter. "I think that is a definite 'Yes' from her," she said, giving a small laugh. Placing a kiss on Alicia's forehead, she got up and walked over to the pink and white set of drawers to pull out an outfit for Alicia to change into since it was cooler outside. It always seemed like she was buying new clothes as Alicia was outgrowing them, but she knew that Alice never minded going shopping with her. A small laugh escaped her lips as she walked over with Alicia's clothes, kneeling to her daughter's level. "We need to get you dressed before we can go," she said sweetly. Alicia squealed and ran towards Jacob at an impressive speed for a four month old. Of course her maturity rate, both physically and mentally, were quite developed and took on the characteristics of a two year old. As awkward as it sounds, Jacob knew from previous experiences with Nessie what to expect as his own child grew at a faster than normal rate from other children. Just after Nessie came in and kissed their child on the forehead, Jacob scooped Alicia up in a big bear hug and then waited there holding her as Nessie began to dig through the drawers looking for some suitable clothing.
Jacob then knelt down to the floor and set Alicia back on her own two feet, and as if on cue, Nessie found what she was looking for and knelt down too. After Alicia had been changed and stood there looking so adorably cute Jacob picked her back up again and spun her around. He was so excited about the day that they were going to have and still holding Alicia, he took Nessie's hand and led them toward the door. As they entered the front room Jacob spotted a sturdy looking blanket and let go of Nessie's hand long enough to grab it and drape it around his neck and then he opened the front door and escorted his girls out into the cool air.
Taking his wife by the hand again he said, "Ok you two, hold on tight and we'll be there in no time." As he tightened his grip on Nessie's hand, Alicia threw her arms around his neck and held on tight, squealing with laughter and they took off, running as fast as they could through the trees. They ducked in and out with the greatest of ease and no sense of exhaustion. The fact that Jacob had his beautiful wife and his adorable daughter with him heightened his senses and he became ecstatic, pushing him to run a tad faster. He was just ready to be there, to soak up every second that he could with his family and cherish these moments while they lasted. He knew because of his daughter's rate of growth that these years certainly wouldn't be lasting long and he wanted to make the most of them, before she was the one running around with a family of her own. Then he saw it. Their meadow…filled of green, green grass and a small area filled with huge boulders. It was a home away from home, and instant comfort to Jacob, and hoped that Alicia would feel the same.

Renesmee dressed their daughter in her warm outfit and took her sleeping clothes over to the hamper to be washed later while Jacob proceeded to pick Alicia up and spin her around. She couldn't help but smile and watch lovingly as their daughter giggled with glee. Jacob was a wonderful father who doted on their daughter adoringly. She knew that Alicia would be the most spoiled vampire/human/wolf hybrid in existence. (Even though she was the only one in existence.) As Jacob took her hand, they walked out into the living room, stopping only to grab a blanket before they were out the door.
Running through the forest, Renesmee felt a sense of exhilaration. It had been a long while since she had really run through the forest like this...using her heightened abilities. Truthfully, she had not really used her vampire powers since Alicia's birth, but it felt wonderful to share this with her husband and child. They glided easily through the forest as the trees seemed to part ways for them. Alicia was giggling happily as they ran, so Renesmee knew that all was right with the world. When they stopped, she took in a breath of fresh air from the meadow around them and knew they were in their place. As they took in all that was around them, Renesmee walked over and placed her hand on Jacob's arm and kissed their daughter on the cheek. "This is our place," she murmured.

Alicia giggled with glee as trees began to blur because of the speed at which her mother was going. She felt very enthralled with everything that was happening. She was especially happy because her father had recently come back. “This is our place” she heard he mother murmur when the world soon came to a halt. Alicia began to run around in circles, still high on her excitement. Alicia ran over to her father and clung to his left leg, she buried her small face into his pants as muffled laughter escaped her mouth. She looked back up at Jacob, smiled and then buried her head again, laughing some more. When Alicia was content on her greeting to her father, she ran back over to her mother and began to jump excitedly. Alicia could not contain herself; she was so happy and playful that she seemed almost confused on how to really act. Her brain was overloading with stimulation. Eventually Alicia collapsed on the floor, and began to roll around carelessly.
Alicia spotted a small yellow flower and picked it up with her small hands. “This is for you.” she said walking over to her mother. She began to giggle as a huge smile spread across her face. Alicia ran back over to Jacob tackling his left leg to make sure her attention was also focused on her father as well.

Renesmee watched happily as Alicia ran all over the little meadow, running over to Jacob first before just taking off through the grass. This was the first time that they had really ever taken Alicia outside of the house, so Renesmee was excited to watch her daughter experience these things for the first time. She remembered her first hunting trip with her mother and Jacob. It had been one of those experiences that you never forget and she hadn't, even though that was over thirty years ago and she had been a young child then. As Alicia fell down onto the ground and rolled around, Renesmee couldn't help but laugh. Her daughter was precious and definitely had the outgoing personality of Jacob.
As Alicia came back over, she saw the flower in her child's hands. When Alicia handed it to her, Renesmee felt her heart grow five times bigger in those three seconds. "Thank you sweetheart," she said gently to her daughter, carressing her curls before watching Alicia run over to Jacob and tackle his leg playfully. Her daughter was one of the most energetic children Renesmee had ever seen, but she was proud of that fact because it meant she was happy and healthy, two of the most important things in the world to Renesmee when it concerned her and Jacob's daughter.

Watching his little girl as she jumped down, and began to run around and squeal, and laugh, and run....made Jacob's heart swell with pride. He was sad that he had let this much time pass since he had last been able to just be with his daughter and wife; to watch her play and grow, and learn, and laugh was his favorite thing to do in the entire universe. She ran back up to him and clung to his leg, buried her face and laughed his favorite, infectious laugh. Her laugh and the sound of her voice as she presented her mommy with a pretty flower that she found echoed through Jacob's sensitive ears and he cherished every moment. Just then his little angel ran back to him, as if to let him know that she hadn't forgotten about him, and clung to his leg once more. He bent over and picked her up and held her close to his chest in a hug, stole a kiss from her chubby cheek, and then spun her around and around. Once he stopped, he put her back down again and asked her, "So, do you know of any good games that we should play?"

As Alicia father spun her around, another set of laughter broke free from deep within her. As soon as she was placed back on the ground Alicia looked up at her father with adoring eyes and a big sweet smile. "So, do you know of any good games that we should play?" Alicia did not have to think but all a split second to decide on what game she wanted to play, instead of announcing it she just took the liberty on herself to be the first to start it. “Tag, you’re it.” She said lightly touching Jacob’s leg and darting off.
Alicia was not sure how far her little legs could carry her, but she tried with all her might to out run Jacob, she liked to think she was the fastest girl in the world. for some reason it gave her great pleasure to think she could never be caught. But, Alicia knew that it would get a bit boring to never get tagged, because half the fun was being about to chase after others. Alicia still ran at the speed she was going, but did not really mind so much if she was caught after thinking about it for a bit.

Jacob smiled the biggest smile while he waited the few seconds for his daughter to figure out what game she wanted to play. He could see the wheels in her mind turning, and then was momentarily caught off guard as she excitedly said, "Tag, you're it! and darted off, motioning for her daddy to catch her. She was surprisingly fast for a child of her age, and Jacob did his best not to laugh at the scene because it was just so darn cute watching her tiny little legs carry her as fast as she could go. He bounded after her, taking his time, but gaining on her slowly. He wanted to soak up every moment this and his heart pounded, not of exhaustion, but out of pure joy and pride in his daughter.
After a few rounds in their precious meadow, Jacob "finally caught up" with his daughter and tickled her sides as she ran and said, "Ha! You're it now munchkin!" Then he changed directions and off to where the boulders were, and hid behind one before Alicia even had time to turn around. "Na na na na na naaaa" He shouted teasing her.

Alicia let out a squeal of excitement once her daddy caught up with her. She turned around to find her father gone but had a good feeling he was most likely hiding somewhere. Darting off towards the Boulders her pace began to slow down as she got closer. Barely pressing her shoes on the grass she crept right up to a boulder catching a glimpse of her father. She leapt on his back and let out a growl. " you can't fool a loin." she growled.
Alicia looked up at her mother and smiled hoping she was impressed by her ability to catch up with her father so quickly. She let out some laughter, and then went back to a growl remembering she was supposed to be pretending she was a loin.
